Unfortunately, during one of the most important weeks in my families' lives, my only brother's wedding, my family members and I stayed here and they had a roach problem. I told Suzie, the office manager, it's not clear to me from the listing, but this is in a log cabin court behind the German restaurant, and she said she would talk to them about a refund. I'm thinking after finding them everywhere, including on the wall above my mom's head when she woke up, to the shower, to the kitchen, they would at least refund half the fee. We didn't have time to make other arrangements and 7 members of my family had already paid the fee to stay moving wasn't an option. When I requested a refund, they came back saying they would refund one night since I "waited until the last day" to tell Suzie. Not true. Suzie agrees it's not true. So here we are. I have turned this in to Airbnb to resolve.

Response from John And Maria:
Emily complained about finding a few cockroaches in the house on the first night, we gave her some bug spray in case she saw them again and did not hear back from her for the rest of her 3 night stay. After she departed, she sent a request through Airbnb for the amount of the entire stay which we declined. Emily then threatened us with a bad review if we did not refund at least half of the amount of her stay. Nobody likes to be threatened - we did not comply. We had a pest inspection the next day and they did not find any evidence of cockroaches, we went through the entire house with a flash light trying to find cockroaches and did not find any. It should be noted that the guests prior to and after Emily's group left a glowing comment card about their stay. We are located in a natural setting, part of a group of 18 cabins - this is written in the first sentence of our listing - we are not sure how much clearer we can be?!

Nice on inside, couple was nice in communication, just did not think "near I-26" meant it was so close we could hear/see the traffic on I-26.
