About this listing
You enter my apartment directly into the spacious kitchen and dining area. It has 2 bedrooms, a double bedroom with ensuite bath and toilet and a single bedroom. The large living room can be turned into a bedroom with the sofa as an extra single bed. There is a small toilet with access from the hallway. The style is humorous "shabby chic" with second hand finds and antic furniture.
Copenhagen is a great city with a range of cultural events, some of which, you can even enjoy for free. For instance the Copenhagen Jazz festival, which take place in the parks and squares of the city. And for kids; street performance and the puppet theatre in "Kongens Have"
It is easy to get around also on a bike - there is designated bicycle paths almost everywhere.
Frederiksberg, where the flat is situated, was in the old times a place for recreation and entertainment. The citizens of Copenhagen would travel to " de små haver" - "the small gardens" and have their picnic. Some of these gardens still exist and serve beer and traditional danish food. You can combine a visit, with a stroll in my favorite park; "Frederiksberg Have". It is landscaped in the romantic style of the 17 hundreds. Next to Frederiksberg Have, you have the Zoo. It has recently been renovated with better habitats for the animals as result and it has one of the best playground for kids in town.
Frederiksberg flea market is on every saturday from april 17th to october 23rd between 9 am to 3 pm. Expect to find some bargains there.
In my neighborhood is a newly build swimming pool and sauna with an outdoor pool area in the summertime.
And in the winter you can try the outdoor ice ring just around the corner.
If you want to explore further a field, there is excellent public transport links to the city center. Fuglebakken train station is only 2 min walk away and have a quick connection to the Metro. Additional there is also an express bus service (250 S), which take you to the City Town Hall and Tivoli gardens in 15 min.

Rikke's place is perfect to stay in Copenhaguen. The flat is roomy and contains everything you might need. Plus it is very, very well located; the neighbourhood is nice and it's very easy to travel anywhere in Copenhaguen from there.
The host is very welcoming and, though she was abroad when I stayed there, Rikke will do everything she can so that you can enjoy your stay.
I hope to come back/
We (I and 2 colleagues) stayed for one month in Rikke's apartment in May-June 2014. The apartment is very nice and cosy, in a quiet neighborhood 10 minutes by bikes from the city center or from a nice district in Norrebro. We actually have not met Rikke, but could get the keys from her mum living in the same building. Rikke left instructions about all details needed to live in the apartment. Rikke answered to my messages when needed, so the organization went smoothly.
We had a very nice time in this apartment, where we felt nice and comfortable like at home. Thank you!
