The Space

Welcome to The Judah House Guest Quarters. The Judah House is an elegant and tranquil house located 2 miles from Bethel Church and a 7 minute drive to town where you will find the Shasta Mall, restaurants, and grocery stores. The house is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in a very safe neighborhood which backs up to a greenbelt. There are no neighbors directly next to us so the home is very private.

The guest quarters is an attached 450 square foot studio apartment with a completely separate entrance. We have tried to make the accommodations feel as much like a hotel in terms of cleanliness, privacy, and luxury. Located on a secluded wing of the house, the suite can accommodate up to 4 people and offer guaranteed privacy.

Furnished with a pillow top California King bed (and a queen airbed upon request) and featuring exotic hardwood floors, the suite is both spacious and elegant. Be prepared for a distraction free stay with your own private entrance and a mini kitchenette equipped with dishes, silverware, a refrigerator, microwave, hot water pot and coffee maker. Note that there is no stove, although there is a BBQ for your use. Relax with a tranquil bath in the jetted tub or welcome the morning while drinking a hot beverage on the garden patio. Enjoy the large library of books featuring Bethel Church authors and other authors such as Robert Kiyosaki. Room Includes complementary use of wireless internet as well as a selection of coffee and tea. Washer/dryer is provided for longer stays.

  • I had a wonderful time in Redding and my stay at the Judah house was the perfect fit for me. A lot of space, great atmosphere, quiet, a very comfortable bed and close to Bethel main campus. Rebekah was very kind and a great host. I can recommend it to everyone visiting Bethel or Redding.
    Thank you for everything.

  • Rebekah was a welcoming & helpful host. The place was beautiful, clean, filled with the presence of God, and felt like home. I was privileged to stay here and Rebekah was more than accommodating, a mighty woman of God who has much to offer the body of Christ. I had a wonderful experience and would love to stay here again! =)

  • A wonderful stay in this gorgeous room with en suite - a really peaceful sanctuary. All looks exactly like the photos. Furnishings, linen and towels all clean and comfy.

Rebekah and Daniel were lovely hosts - warm and accommodating but giving privacy and space too. The welcome basket of snacks to graze on was a nice touch as the nearest place to get a bite or pick up basic groceries (gas station store with nice bakery/restaurant) is 20mins walk away.

If like me you're hoping to get by foot to Bethel Church allow 30mins and bring hiking shoes as there's a nice cross country short cut. Daniel lent me a flash light as, being winter, it was often dark when I did this walk (some sections really dark!). Rebekah also gave me a lift by car when my movements fitted in with hers.

Food preparation facilities is limited to what you can do with a kettle and microwave (I didn't try the gas BBQ outside) but enough for a short stay or if you plan to eat out most of the time. (Recommended restaurants and wifi password are now provided in guest folder)

Would definitely stay here again - highly recommended.

  • I recently stayed at The Judah House and was generally very happy with the experience. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable with SUPER soft sheets, and I really appreciated having my own private entrance. I would recommend this to other travelers, though it's important to note that it is on the very outskirts of town, looks out onto the backyard and it does not have a television. Overall, it's a great room for people who just want a nice, comfortable, private space to regroup, prepare for the day, and sleep.

  • Rebekah was an excellent host. She provided a comfortable and clean place to stay, complete with an amazing jet tub and a king size bed! What a wonderful place to stay in Redding.

  • I would highly recommend the Judah house! Incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom has a nice jacuzzi tub and huge shower. They were very accommodating with our two little ones and even let them play on their play structure in the backyard. Our kids loved that. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was great to have the little kitchenette. The only complaints I would have would be that they only had decaf coffee, which was a bummer for us because we had a long day of driving ahead of us. We also couldn't find the wifi password anywhere. We assumed it would have been in the binder they have in the room full of restaurant recommendations but it was not in there. A bummer. Other than that the place is wonderful and truly felt like 5 star accommodations.
