Xanadu: A Walkable Vacation on Captiva Beach
All new in 2026 | Pavilion-style estate
Xanadu is a 7-bedroom, 7.5-bath Captiva Village estate on Andy Rosse Lane that sleeps 18, organized around a private central courtyard with a heated pool/spa and outdoor entertaining.
The primary living areas include a main-level great room that integrates the kitchen, dining, and living spaces with direct courtyard access, plus additional indoor hangout space and multiple outdoor decks/balconies that extend the home's gathering zones beyond the interior.
Xanadu is built for groups: a central courtyard that brings everyone together, and a pavilion layout that gives people separation when they want it.
Fully remodeled in 2025 by an award-winning designer, this pavilion-style home is organized around a central courtyard pool and spa. Sleeping quarters are separated from living spaces by covered breezeways that catch Gulf breezes throughout the day.
An elevator serves all three floors.
Park the car and leave it for the week
Andy Rosse Lane is Captiva's main street: restaurants with live music and outdoor seating, art galleries, boutiques, a full-service grocery, and the Mucky Duck—Captiva's local gathering spot for sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.
The Bubble Room, with its quirky décor and famous desserts, has been a Captiva fixture since 1979. Four stylish island cruiser bikes with helmets are provided for longer trips along Captiva Drive.
2 Minutes to Captiva Beach
Captiva Beach is known for its beautiful sunsets, soft sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and shelling.
The islands' unusual east–west orientation creates ideal conditions for shells to wash ashore from the Gulf of Mexico. With an unobstructed western horizon, sunsets are vivid—orange to pink to purple as the sun drops.
The beach is a two-minute walk: morning swim before breakfast, a quick dip after lunch, sunset walk while dinner is on the grill. You can be back in minutes to rinse off, grab a drink, and decide what's next.
Xanadu provides:
Beach towels
Beach chairs and umbrellas
