Uniquely elegant, the Olivewood Inn features Italian marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and stained-glass. Located on Main Street in Forest City, NC, it is close to many destinations in the foothills region, including the Tryon International Equestrian Center (15 min drive), Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park. Charlotte, Asheville, Hickory, and Greenville are all one hour’s drive away.

The space
By choosing to stay at the Olivewood Inn, you will experience a shift in place and time; let's say 19th century Italy. Built in the late 1920s, this European dream home features Italian marble floors, an ornate turreted stairway with painted ceiling, and unique "state of the art" vintage bathrooms in each guest room, which are located on the second floor (guests must climb 20 steps).

The lower level is the headquarters of the Tree of Life Cultural Foundation, and may be rented out for various events, such as weddings, bridal showers, business meetings, book clubs, etc.

The Oak Room has a double bed and private bathroom.
