Union Hall lies on the South West Coast of County Cork, only one hours drive from Cork City, just off the N71 road between the town of Clonakilty and Skibbereen. The Village overlooks the famous Glandore Harbour with its unique seascape and unspoiled countryside. It has great charm with its brightly painted cottages and steepled Churches.
Shearwater is one hour's drive from Cork City, there is a bus service to Cork and west to Skibbereen to Golleen. However, there is no public service around the area.
Shearwater is a non smoking guest house. We welcome guests and expect them to respect our accommodation with due care and consideration to other guests. We do not allow pets, we have our own dog called Lulu she is a springer spanial, who barks and has no teeth.
We had a wonderful stay at Adela's B&B. The view on the lake and Union Hall is beautiful, and the little village absolutly charming. Breakfast at Adela's is one of the best we had during our trip in Ireland, and her and her husband are very nice people. We recommend this place, and keep a fond memory of our stay there.
