The cottage is beautiful designed and built with 15 foot ceilings, a rock wall on one side, wood paneling and floors, located on my coffee farm. Very private, surrounded by jungle and only 15 minutes from town at 1200 ft elevation. 1 or 2 adults. Located at mile marker 7 .
The Cottage is a studio with a spacious covered lava-rock lanai and sliding glass doors that open completely to the outdoors, bringing the “outside inside." The west facing sliders open to a covered lanai. A teak table, four chairs and a gas barbeque provide for fine outdoor dining. The modest kitchen has a Subzero two-drawer refrigerator, deep sink, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, range/stove, tea kettle, cook ware, cooking and dining utensils. The bathroom shower is unique because it one wall is made from lava rocks. Wifi and private parking.

Interaction with guests
I spend some time on the mainland. A second house is located on the property, Also a vacation rental. Both homes are private and quiet.
Very private in a tropical jungle with lots of fruit trees and tropical plants. The night sounds include coqui frogs, geckos, and sometimes roosters. Although I have not heard roosters recently. Ear plugs are recommended for light sleepers. Additionally it gets cool in the evening in the winter because we are on the slope of a mountain at 1200 feet in the Kona Coffee Belt. Please bring a sweat shirt or jacket in the winter to wear in the evening.
Please rent a car. Very limited public transportation.
