For those who love the foody side of life – the beautiful hillsides and valleys are home to a number of vineyards, many of which sell their wine and olive oil in the local shops or at the markets. Many delicacies are also found from these hills and served locally, including wild boar or ‘cinghiale’ and truffles which are an Italian delicacy. Most Italian restaurants have a wide offering of fresh food, with the option of all of the traditional courses, but don’t feel obligated to have antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti followed by postre. Many Italians now just have antipasti followed by a primi or secondi piatti.
Ubaldo is a three bedroom property on the sought after San Vittorino estate. It looks towards the restored chapel and has a patio and garden.
The downstairs living area is open plan with a large kitchen/diner/living area. The kitchen is a modern Italian built in design with granite worktops and is a joy to cook in. Through to the living/dining area, there is a ‘look-through’ fireplace which adds to Ubaldo’s charms.
Throughout Ubaldo there is exposed stonework, reclaimed chestnut beams and beautiful antique floors. Everywhere you look, there is something architectural to wonder at.
The three bedrooms are split over two floors, and all are of good size.
Ubaldo sleeps 6 people comfortably and provides comfortable seating and living arrangements for 6 people.

Other things to note
Ultissimo are an Italian property developer based between London and Italy. Our heritage is with Umbrian developments. All of our developments are exclusive with limited numbers to ensure they remain elite.
When we started in 2004 we purchased a derelict farmhouse and a number of outbuildings which we carefully restored into 8 luxury homes plus the original farmhouse. Each home has stunning kitchens and bathrooms with modern Italian fittings, and all feature open plan kitchen/living/diners and private gardens to provide comfortable, luxurious living. Being a small community brings its own benefits and there is a sense of belonging at Rancale with a communal pool and tennis court shared between the 8 properties. A recent visitor declared it ‘a piece of heaven’ when sat out under clear star lit skies.
Following on from the promise of Rancale partway through completing, we sourced a secondary similar piece of land from which San Vittorino emerged. With a now restored chapel, and 9 other properties on site, San Vittorino set into the hillside opposite Gubbio offers amazing views of hills and the medieval walled town of Gubbio. Above Gubbio every Christmas, there is one of the world’s largest Christmas tree laid out in lights on the slopes of Mount Ingino which is clearly visible from San Vittorino. All properties were lovingly restored with many of the original features such as the flooring and original beams kept in each home. The communal pool and tennis court offer the ability to mingle with other members of the San Vittorino community.
Through our developments there is a strong element of community and respect, both of the environment and the others around you. Both Rancale and San Vittorino offer quality accommodation at affordable prices making them ideal for romantic getaways, holidays with the family and a perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Umbrian countryside and major Italian cities.
Ultissimo have two award-winning restoration projects both based in the Green Heart of Italy. We are a London-based property developer working only in Italy. Both of our exclusive developments in Umbria have eight properties and three are available for rental in beautiful San Vittorino. Set in an idyllic rural location, with tarmac roads to the properties and easy access to all amenities.
