For mig er det vigtigt, at man kan hygge sig, der hvor man bor. Derfor er jeg ikke bange for at tin(website hidden)jlighed bliver brugt, men jeg sætter stor pris på, at der bliver passet på begge dele :)
To me it's important to feel at home where you're staying. Therefore I'm not afraid of things being used, I just appreciate that they are taken care of.
We never met Kristine during our 2-weeks stay in the apartment, we just talked on the phone and communicated via SMS or Internet, anyway I can say that she is a very kind person, that really cares about you having a pleasant stay and is wiling to provide you with everything you might need during your permanence. She left a nice welcome note on the table explaining all the details about the apartment usage. The apartment was very well positioned as well, 200 meters from Foum Metro station and 15 minutes walk from the city centre.
Nevertheless, the apartment’s interior was not exactly as we expected to be, according to the photo gallery visible on the site. It is true that the apartment had been very recently renovated but, there were some things about which we have been disappointed. One of the beds was simply a mattress laid on the floor, therefore very much uncomfortable. The other bed was made by 2 single mattresses laid on each other without any supporting structure. Closets and chests of drawers for personal clothes storage, were missing, so we had to leave all the stuff in the suitcase for the entire period. The bedrooms and the living room were very dimly lit during night hours, in fact there where no lighting fixture pending from the ceiling, but simply few lampshades that made light very poor. Also the oven was in bad condition and we did not dare to use it. The laundry machine was OK, as well as the rest of the kitchen facilities.
Kristine was not there to greet us, but she made sure we got into the flat OK.
Fantastic area. Walkable into the centre of Copenhagen and close to bus and Metro.
Area felt very safe.
Inside, the flat was very clean and extremely well equipped kitchen!
Kristine's description is very misleading.
This is NOT a 4 bedroom flat that sleeps 4. It has 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. The other bed is a blow up mattress, that deflated in the night!
4 of us booked this flat. 2 of us (not a couple) had to sleep on the floor, which made for 4 very bad sleeps. Nowhere in Kristine's description does it say that the other bed is a blow up. Also furniture had to be moved to make beds in the living room, and there was very little space to do this.
She left damp sheets for the blow up mattress which we had to dry, and had forgotten to leave a welcome note out with wifi details etc.
In the bedroom, the blind had broken, so we had to put up a sheet over the window for privacy and to try and block some light out.
This flat really is only suitable for a couple.
Kristine's flat was exactly as described, warm, cosy and beautifully laid out. Everything that you might need is available and you feel at home straightaway. The flat is also perfectly located to jump on the metro at Forum and explore the City, which is, itself, lovely.
The neighbourhood generally is very cool and has nice restaurants within an easy walk along with food shops, literally round the corner if you need supplies.
Kristine, was very helpful, in touch and left her flat ready for us without any check in or out, time pressure.
We had a great time in Copenhagen and no small part of this was due to being able to come back and chill out in such a lovely, comfortable place to stay. We highly recommend Kristine and her beautiful flat and maybe will be back again one day, if she will have us!
We very much enjoyed our stay in Kristine's apartment which was warm and inviting, also well furnished and equipped. Location was good with easy access to metro, shops and cafes.
Kristine's flat is brilliantly located - a 15/20 minute walk from Central Station. Whilst we did not meet Kristine, we picked up the keys with ease and everything was ready for us in the flat - all very self-explanatory! The photos do the flat justice and we enjoyed our brief stay there. We needed two beds and so Kristine provided an inflatable bed with comfy bedding! Some great places to hang-out nearby (we tried Foderbraettet - posh hot dogs and cocktails served in a trendy environment and nearby Kvaesthuset (on Aboulevard) which served amazing local beer and played great music - the guy who owns it is very friendly! All in all, a really great trip!
We loved our stay and will definitely try to come back one day! The apartment is exceptionally well located and there is so much to see within just a short walk. It is also beautifully decorated and well equipped. Although we did not meet Kristine, she made sure the experience was super smooth.
