Other Things to Note
In the 1970's this property was Swallowtail Studios, a famous glass blowers cooperative. The Grateful Dead played in the barn and hung out here...their manager lived just down the road. The barn is redwood, quite large and beautiful, with stained glass windows.

Just a few house rules:
1. The cottage is for 1 or 2 adults only...no children or pets.
2. No smoking indoor or out...severe fire hazard.
3. We are in a bad drought and on a low producing well so ask our guests to be ultra conscious of water use...short showers, turn off faucets, etc.
4. We do like the quiet out here.
5. Enjoy yourself!
What an amazing oasis of calm! Between the warm welcome and amazing breakfast Bill and Michelle offered, the hot tub, listening to the owls while a gentle breeze wafted into the cottage windows at night and the super comfy bed, we were so pleased with our stay.
We would love to come back again and try out staying in one the tree houses. Michelle and Bill were great hosts!
We stayed with Michelle and Bill in their beautifully decorated Indonesian cottage. This was our first and airb&b experience and has set the bar extremely high. We were very hectic as we were attending a nearby wedding and Michelle and Bill provided the company and environment to help us relax into our Californian experience.
Loved the cottage, loved the breakfast, loved the setting, absolutely loved the hot tub gazing at the stars. Highly recommend this as a get a away from the stresses of every day life.
We will spread the word and next time we will stay in one of the amazing tree houses. x
We really enjoyed staying in Petaluma at Michelle and Bill's place! It is very secluded and peaceful. The heating pads on the bed and the hot tub are definitely a plus! The house is very unique, cozy, and well decorated. Also it's close to downtown Petaluma, which was very cute and fun.
Beautiful neighborhood! Could not recommend this place any higher! Michelle + Bill were the most perfect, gracious hosts and absolutely loved spending our breakfasts with them. The Indonesia Cottage was cozy and I am pretty convinced that was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Definitely plan on coming back for a future trip!
