Jules is the perfect host. Nothing is to much and she will help with anything in anyway she can. Both rooms we booked are ideal in everyway. Each room has a very high spec in all areas. Great value for money. Superb location. Walking distance to the city centre. 20 mins to the docks. All in all, the perfect place to stay in Southampton. Short or long stay, these rooms are top quality with a truly amazing friendly host. 5* x
I had a wonderful stay at The Mews, hosted by the lovely Jules. I had everything I needed at hand and Jules was more than happy to help with any request I had. The perfect sized room with some great amenities and felt very private. Perfect if you're working at The Mayflower (like myself) as a theatre digs. I will definitely be contacting Jules again next time I'm in Southampton.
We were very happy that Julia could come for us at the station. We did not expect it. The room we had was comfortable and and exactly as you see it in the pics on top of being spacious. We came and went as we pleased. You won't find a better place to stay so close to the city center.
It was a great pleasure to host In'utu and Sergio. Two vey delightful characters.
The double room is on the ground floor and allows the guests to come and go as they please at any time of the day and night! This worked well for The couple.
They went to Winchester on my say so, and had an enjoyable visit.
I would welcome them back here anytime. They were the ideal guests quietly getting on with their visit.
My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Julia's room. It's a nice, clean, airy room more than spacious enough for two people. The person on the other side of the house, Franky, was also extremely warm and welcoming and helpful. Julia and Franky were sociable without being overbearing, and my partner and I had an all-around great stay in Southampton.
Nice quiet space with shared bathroom and private facilities to get on with your own simple breakfast.
Julia was very helpful as a local area knowledge bank.
Would be happy to stay again when in the area. 5 Minute taxi ride to the Red Funnel ferries or a 30 minute walk.
