  • Nice folks. I was just here a few nights and doing my own thing so weren't really hanging out but everyone was pleasant and James made sure I was taken care of. Clean, nice house. Super close to the subway, which was great.

  • I just enjoyed three nights at James' place. Great clean, quiet room and bathroom. Super convenient access to the J-M-Z trains. Secure. Exactly as pictured. James is responsive, easy to deal with, and very helpful. In addition, his roommates are all welcoming and great company. I think it would be very hard to find a better value than this. I'd stay there again on my next trip to NY.

  • Staying at Jame's apartement along with the other roommates was really a pleasure for me. Everyone is really nice and they seem to be a great community and they are definitely great company! You get to laugh a lot there and everyone is very easy-going. I stayed for two weeks and had a great time. I was there on vacation (as part of my travels through northern America) and it's really a brilliant location to stay if you want to see New York city (that means all of it, not only Manhattan). You can get anywhere pretty fast, as the train station is really near. Everything you need to live is round the corner, a bunch of delis, a bigger food market and a laundry, too.

  • Wonderful stay- I highly recommend it. I'm staying in other parts of the city for the rest of my trip but nothing beats the location, the company, or the pizza at Roberta's nearby. If you're thinking about booking James's place, don't hesitate to do so.

  • James was an awesome host! Very inviting, friendly and accommodating. The room was exactly as pictured and his home is clean and well-equipped. His roommates were also very cool. You'll love the convenient transportation (2 blocks from the train and 20 minutes from the city). All in all, a great experience!

  • I had an amazing time at this place. James and his flatmates are open and friendly. They we're all easy to talk to. The room was nice and cosy. The neighborhood was good and as it reads in the description the place is close to the JMZ train. If you like to walk a little, it's close to the G train as well. Since I like walking, one day I even walked to Manhattan via Brooklyn Bridge from James' home. Although, I came there for staying in Brooklyn. James pointed out some nice places in the map here on airbnb, but Brooklyn is full of great cafés, bars and restaurants.

  • I stayed few nights in James's place. Safetly neighborhood and good location in Brooklyn. The subway is really close, and lot of choice of lignes (M, J, C) who gives you the possibilitly to go everywhere in NY.
Nice apartment, clean, comfortable, simple and private bedroom, and open kitchen where you can cook easly, and talk in the same time with people around.
Super friendly roomates, carefull and helpfull.
Will come back for sure in this place for next stay in NYC.
    See you guys:)

  • Great place, really close to everything. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in New York.

  • James' home was a great respite in gritty but cool Bushwick. Staying in a brownstone with other housemates made me feel like a resident Brooklynite for the week, and the place is only a few minutes walk to transport. Hard to find any complaints for the excellent price!

  • My stay in James place was just perfect!! The house was perfect, the room, the area, everything. The train is so close to the apt and you can easily get to Manhattan in 20 minutes. Everything was so clean and they all were so kind and cool people.
I will def come back to this place in my next trip to the city :)
