𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 📖

This 760 sq ft cabin tells a story of care, creativity, and connection. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create a space that feels both personal and timeless. It’s not flawless, as some edges carry the character of age and use, but that’s part of its charm, a reminder that every place has a history to share.

The king-size Tuft and Needle mattress rests atop a handcrafted artisan bed frame, dressed in 100% French flax linen. The coffee table was built and shaped by us using reclaimed wood found near Orderville, Utah. The primitive jelly cabinet, over a century old, was discovered after hours of searching and hours of driving, a testament to the intention behind every piece and our love for the primitive and old.

Quirky 50’s-era parrots hang in the cabin kitchen. They came with the cabin and will remain as a nod to its past. Historical photos from the Utah historical society connect you to this land’s relationship with humanity. A vibrant, colorful deep green or blue (you decide) wall invites you to step outside your comfort zone, straying far from the starkness of white walls, and into an atmosphere designed to spark creativity and reflection. Handcrafted pottery, inspired by the region’s indigenous history, adds textures and depth to the space.

Pour-over coffee takes time here, encouraging you to gaze out the kitchen window at deer and coyotes passing through. Organic loose-whole leaf teas, specially blended for a brain boost or restful sleep, remind you to slow down and sip. Outside, the rock path we hand-laid winds to a propane fire pit, a quiet spot for evenings beneath the immense starlit sky. The bathroom window, a hidden gem, frames a breathtaking view of the red rock cliffs, turning even the most mundane moments into something extraordinary.

Despite its location within a community, the cabin feels wonderfully isolated, bordered by public lands that stretch endlessly into the wild. You won’t see your neighbors next door. Instead, you’ll feel wrapped in the embrace of nature, where the land itself inspires solitude and introspection.

Open living spaces, separated by a single wall, foster closeness and conversation. A connection card game rests within reach, ready to help you look your fellow traveler in the eye and discover their heart. The curated library and bespoke playlists offer words of wisdom and music to match the pace of this intentional retreat. It’s not about perfection here, it’s about embracing life as it unfolds, much like the raw and untamed wilderness outside. It’s through these imperfections, both in design and in life, that we discover beauty.

This log cabin was designed to sit in balance with its peaceable surroundings. Built using beautiful heritage resources, it’s an exceptional space for a memorable stay. And if you've made it this far in the description you are our type of guests and most likely a kindred spirit ☺️

"I honestly can't gush enough about this place. I almost want to just keep it my little secret, but it's just too good not to share. it was the perfect place to unwind and replenish your creative juices. every inch of the cabin has thoughtful touches, from interesting books and records, well placed lighting and functional fireplace for maximum coziness, and windows that showcase the natural surroundings SO beautifully, comfy seating and bedding. the place smells like a spa (in a good, not overwhelming way) and honestly felt like I had stepped into an interior design magazine. truly everything you need to feel right at home. not to mention it is only an hour away from premiere national parks and cool little day trips. Heather was so responsive and made the best recommendations. I hope to be back someday!"

Guests will have full access to the cabin, 2 acres of private land, and direct entry to expansive public lands right behind the property—a rare and unique feature for accommodation in Kanab.

Other things to note
The cabin is 760 sqft. with a big heart. The bathroom window offers expansive views of red rock cliffs without any trails. The only likely visitors will be wildlife passing by.
