I am a 1980s-born girl passionate for travelling, photogaraphy and sports.If you come to visit beijing, it is my pleasure to be your guide in my extra time. I will try my best to help you to understand Beijing not just have good meals and find fun places. I am sure you will love Beijing and enjoy yourselves as you are at home.
My room is an excellent choice if you are a turist, since it is in the center of old Beijing and you can feel a real OLD BEIJING(with long history) here rather than tall buildings or a modern city. You can walk to the Forbinden City, Temple Heaven and Liulichang in no more than 2 KMs. On your way to these places, you will feel the slow and happy life though various HUTONGs. I can say that you will find the most amazing thing of Beijing is lingering along the HUTONG aimlessly.
If you like to drop by when you are in Beijing, I have some request for you:
1 Please keep the room clean and do not do any damages.
2 All the neighbourhoods are friendly and communicate frequently. The Community is quiet and peaceful.I hope you like it and help to keep it as it is now
3 No party is allowed and no others except guests booked through AirBNB are allowed to live here.
4 Owls and people with excessive drinking and other bad habbits are not welcome
This is a apartment with one bedroom and one living room. You can use my TV, airconditioner, washing machine, fridge,microwave oven, water heater. You also can cook by yourselves.
The very important：the washroom and kitchen maybe does not look clean ,is not really not clean ,because house is old and small ,so please understand and sorry for this
It is very convenient to other places because we live in the center of Beijing. It is just 10-15 minutes to the Subway. There are lots of buses to Tiananmen,Beihai, Beijing Railway Station.
The apartment lies in the only 3-floor building int the community while others are 1-floored houses(Ping Fang in Chinese). We share a balcony with neighbour next door, it is a wonderful experience rest and chat here in summer night.
Qianmen street is just 500m away and Liulichang is just 200m away. There is a fairy in 20m. It takes you only 15 minutes to Walmart or Sogo plaza.
Please check in before 23:00
Great time in Beijing at Haijing's flat. I actuallly thought at the beginning I had booked a full flat. But Haijing is so descrete that my wife and I hardly felt we shared the flat with her.
The flat is very central and close to many restaurants places to rent bikes and Tiananmen in the middle of Dashilar hutong.
Bed is good and there's everything one needs to sleep and explore the city. It s not a 5-star hotel but it is very cheap.
Haijing helped us prepare the journey even giving us a card for public transportation.
The best was last day 's breakfast she kindly prepared for us. Thanks Haijing! We had such a great time at your place!
Exactly as described and expected, Haijing is very friendly and welcoming, plus the opportunity to stay in a Hutong is fantastic. The room is big, clean and warm--which was especially important at the beginning of March.
My husband and I had a great time staying with Haijing. She was very understanding when we had flight delays and also helped us plan what to see and do while in Beijing. Haijing made breakfast for us the morning we were leaving. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Haijing is great to talk to and lives in an awesome location close to the main sites tucked away in the hutong area. Close to a lot of hostels where we could book day trips to the Great Wall. Lots of fun to walk around in the neighborhood. Chinese style bathroom but the room was clean and pretty big. Haijing was also super helpful and understanding when we missed our flight!
I like staying at Haijing's place. She is a wonderful welcoming host and her English is easily understandable. Haijing has helped me with routes and taxis...
The room is large, very quiet and well lit. Warm and comfortable.
I highly recommend to stay there even if the way to her place might be a bit unfamiliar to foreigners...
I'll definitely come back to Haijing's place
Haijing was a very nice and sweet host. The room was large and nice, but the bathroom was small and not that clean. The flat is located in a very traditional Beijing hutong, which is interesting to experience but no fancy nor modern if someone is expecting that. It's 10 minutes walk from Qianmen Street, which is a very touristy, safe and nice place, and 15 minutes from a subway station. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, street-food spots around, so is really convenient. Overall, staying here was an interesting way to experience a traditional Chinese neighbourhood.
It was a great stay. The room was clean, Haijing is very nice, and you get to experience what it's like to live on a hutong. It was easy to walk to the forbidden city and the local train station. It's a 45 minute walk or 2 quick trains to major shopping areas etc.... I read the reviews that the place was hard to find and found a streetview on baidu:
PS Haijing's directions are spot on, and if you're coming from the airport, I suggest taking the train to her spot. It'll be faster and cheaper than a taxi.
Lots of sunshine in the morning;
very nice clean room;
great location for tourists;
great for exploring hutongs
Haijing is such gentle and kind person, everyone will feel at home in her place. The arrival can be a bit discomforting, not easy for the taxi to find the address, the way to her flat is so Chinese... Once inside, all great. Large, well heated (in December), good sun light in this very quiet room. Small kitchen and bathroom where all things fall into place. Haijing has been helpful and attentive and so considerate. I highly recommend her place where I've already booked my return to Beijing.
An extremely nice location in a part of Beijing that comes closest to traditional China, while having all the conveniences of modern life (shops, metro station, restaurants all around the corner). The host is a very kind, considerate and warm person who makes you feel at home right away.
Although smack in the middle of a traditional Chinese 'hutong' or alley, even with little to zero Chinese you can easily survive as most shop and restaurant owners are used to foreign guests who visit the nearby Tiananmen square.
I had a wonderful three weeks here and would recommend all friends and family visiting China to this place.
