Hackescher Markt: The "place to be" in Berlin!
Very nice, full furnished designer apartment in the heart of Berlin MITTE, between Alexanderplatz and the well-known Hackesche Höfe, in the "WEINMEISTERSTRAßE".
MORE MITTE IS IMPOSSIBLE! ;-)
In this street, there are for example two design hotels in which you would pay about 200 dollars for a night!!
The Hackeschen Höfe, the Alexanderplatz, the Museum Island and Unter den Linden within walking distance!!
The flat is 35 sqm and has been entirely renovated in May 2011. It is a so called "Altbau", that means an old Berlin house (see picture of the building front), with a garden for joint use (see picture). It has been renovated and decorated in a very modern urban look.
The whole appartement is only for you, not shared or so!
A modern design small bathroom with design mosaic flags and a wide shower with massage shower columm, floor heating. A nice bedroom with a bed for two persons and a garderobe. A modern kitchen with everything you need, as well as dishwasher and washing machine (built-in appliances) with a bar table and chairs, LCD-TV, a nice small hi-fi unit with ipod and iphone adapter, Internet Wireless.

In this hip area of Berlin, you will find numerous cafes and restaurants. If you like shopping, you will be thrilled: because here just around the corner you can get hold "Berlin style" in many small fashion stores!
CHECK IN and OUT
In general, it would be great if you could check in from 3pm and check out until 11am. Of course you can ask me if you have any other request and I will see what can be done! I'm just trying to regulate the check in and out times because I too often had to wait very long for guests to arrive. Thus, I would appreciate if you could send me a brief email or SMS precising your arrival time, for example the day before you arrive!

Die angegebenen Preise verstehen sich all inclusive.
In der Regel möchten wir, dass der Mieter (auch Kurzmieter) eine Privathaftpflichtversicherung besitzen. So können evtl. (gravierende) Schädigungen rechtlich abgedeckt werden.
Der Mieter erhält einen Hausschüssel und einen Wohnungsschlüssel. Wenn diese verloren geht, sind die entsprechenden Kosten vom Mieter zu tragen!
Zusätzlicher Hinweis für Langmieter (ab 3 Wochen): Strom und Warmwasser sind bis zu einer gewissen Grenze inbegriffen, die einem normalen Verbrauch entspricht. Im Falle eines anormalen hohen Verbrauchs werden die zusätzlich entstandenen Kosten vom Mieter überommen (Details bei der Wohnungsabnahme und im Mietvertrag).
Bei einer Langzeitmiete wird eine Kaution in Höhe von 150 euros erhoben und wird am Ende des Aufenthaltes zurückerstattet.
Bei einem Aufenthalt von mehr als drei Wochen erklärt sich der Mieter damit einverstanden, dass die Wohnung zweimal gereinigt wird und die entsprechenden Kosten sich auf 70 (statt 40) euro erhöhen.
The prices are all inclusive.
In general, we prefer tenants (including short tenants) to have a personal liability insurance. It can help (serious) injuries to be legally covered.
The tenant receives one key for the house and one for the apartment. If the tenant loses those two keys, the incurred costs have to be paid by the tenant (or its insurance)!
Additional information for long-tenant (more than 3 weeks): Electricity and hot water are included up to a certain limit, which corresponds to a normal consumption. In case of abnormal high consumption, the additional costs incurred have to be paid by the tenant (details at key delivery).
For a long time rent, a security deposit of 150 euros will be needed and returned at the end of the stay.
For stays of more than three weeks, the tenant agrees that the apartment will be cleaned twice, which increases the costs to 60 (instead of 30) €.
Lovely modern apartment with a fantastic shower in a brilliant location for seeing the sights of Berlin. U-bahn literally steps away from the front door (however, if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would be an investment, we used ours and slept fantastically). Stephanie was quick to respond from enquiry to whilst we were there and although we didn't meet her we met her husband who showed us around the apartment and facilitated us collecting our bags later than our checkout. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.
Stephanie was a fantastic host, kept in touch with us regarding check in and check out, however we were very much left to do as we pleased. The apartment was fantastic, within a brilliant location and very close to a train station. Would recommend this apartment to anyone! Really made our trip.
This apartment is fantastic for one or two people to stay. Located a half block from the U-bahn and three blocks from Alexanderplatz, it's hard to argue with the location. the apartment has everything you would need for an overnight stay or a month's stay (I stayed for three nights) with full kitchen and a washer. Stephanie was very welcoming and can provide many recommendations of places to eat etc. she is easily accessible and very accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay here.
Our time in Berlin was amazing!! We spent 4 weeks in Europe and Berlin was our last stop. Stephanie's apartment was our favourite! It is in an incredibly fantastic location in the heart of Berlin and is fitted with all the necessities and more. Stephanie was happy to share her knowledge about the city and apartment and was a very kind host. Great modern apartment in the heart of Mitte! Very cool neighbourhood and safe with busy shops that were open late every night! Very close to restaurants and public transport connections but also easy to walk to tourist attractions. We would recommend this apartment to everybody!!
