Other Things to Note

There is a nice walk along the Msida and Ta' Xbiex marina with excellent coffee and sweet shops, restaurants and bars.
We operate an indoor non-smoking policy, although guests who enjoy a smoke can do so in the house's open air back yard.
The house is in a quiet street, close to everything. A shop where almost everything is available is around the corner. They are open till very late. Fresh fish, meat, vegetables can be found in different shops close by. And there is a Lidl about 1 km from the house. Bus stops are on a short walking distance to go everywhere.
I can hardly think of anything that is not in the house for your comfort. A fully equipped kitchen with quality equipment allows you to cook your own meals. The beds are very good, no back problems. And the courtyard is great to have breakfast when it is warm. Most remarkable is the fact that the house is like an art gallery.
Vince and Laura are the most remarkable hosts. They picked us up at the airport and brought us back. On arrival some essentials were in the fridge. Everything you need you can ask, they are living next door but are in no way intrusive. Thanks Laura for showing us the fish shop. We both had a very cosy evening with them with a very nice bottle of wine. Vince and Laura are really great-hearted and they will stay in our heart forever.
We stayed 3 weeks in in the house and visited almost everything in Malta, Gozo and Comino. It was a paradise for walking and a cultural highpoint in Europe. But reserve your tickets for the Hypogeum months in advance if you want to go!
As you already have understood, I can only recommend to stay in the house of Vince and Laura when coming to Malta.
We absolutely recommend Vince and Laura's apartment. First of all, they came to pick us at the airport in such a friendly and kind way after 10 pm, and they drove us to the apartment after showing us a little bit the neighbourhood. The apartment looks like in the pictures. All the amenities are there. You have small groceries nearby, and the Marina is just a few minutes by walk. They were absolutely fantastic!
Thank you Laura and Vince to make our stay so good! After two days in Barcelona, we just want to come back!
Vince and Laura were the most considerate and warm hosts. Their lovely house was full of amazing artwork and was situated in a tranquil neighbourhood. This stay has been one of our most memorable experiences. Hope to return soon!
Vince and Laura are exceptional hosts - communication in the lead up to our visit was exceptional, the lifts to and from the airport were incredibly welcome and a nice extra touch, they were both very knowledgeable and informative about where we should visit, and just incredibly lovely people in general! They even left us Maltese supplies in fridge as a welcome gift :)
The house is equally lovely - very charming and character-filled, only about a 15 minute walk to the middle of Valetta, and also well served by the local buses to venture further afield. In addition to some very comfy beds (we both had the best night's sleep we'd had in ages!) a decent shower and a nice little yard out back, it has plenty of mod cons - including cable TV and Wi-Fi, the latter of which comes in very handy when planning what to do without the aid of roaming data!
There's also a handy and late-opening convenience store around the corner, which came in useful on several occasions to pick up supplies whilst visiting.
I honestly can't recommend staying with Vince and Laura enough! If you're thinking of booking there, just do it!
We had a lovely time at Laura's and Vince' place! They are very nice and showed great hospitality, from taking us back and forth from the airport to ensuring we had what we needed. The apartament is cozy and chic, we felt at home from the very first moment. The location of the apartment is also very good, in a quiet neighborhood, close to public transportation and grocery shops.
All in all, great stay and we warmly recommend Laura's and Vince's place.

The Apartment was great. Vince and Laura picked us up at the Airport and showed us the Neighbourhood and relevant places. We spent a lovely holiday there. This place should be your first choice if you are goint to visit Malta.
Vince and Laura made us feel very welcome, meeting us at the airport (even though we arrived in the middle of the night!) and dropping us back when we were going home, showing us around the area so we could find local shops, bus stops etc. They also provided essential basics such as milk and tea. We had a lovely time. The house is a short bus ride from Valetta, and was as it appears in the photos. Easy access by bus to all the main sights.
About the Host, Vince
I am an artist and I lecture at the University of Malta. I love to meet people, travel, read, great food and wine and also I love to immerse myself in anything that is cultural and artistic.
