We are 3 guys, sharing a cozy apartment in the middle of Copenhagen. Our flat is situated in the Latin Quarter, one of the oldest quarters of the city. Getting out to the popular areas takes maximum 10 minutes on foot! Copenhagen's key point in transportation, Nørreport station, is only 5 minutes away.
We occasionally accept guests to our flat. We rarely have the entire flat empty, however, when one of us is away, we have a private room available for guests.
Our apartment is an old and stable place. We kindly ask our guests to be careful of this fact, and try not to make loud noises after 10pm.
We have a lovely courtyard you can use in nice weather. It is the perfect place to grill, sunbathe or to chill out.
The room you will stay in is the largest room in the flat, decorated in a very minimalistic manner. It has a double size bed, and is best suitable for a couple.
It was a very nice experience and I really recommend Emre's place.
The apartment is easily reached by metro and located within walking distance to the center. The neighborhood is very nice and worth of exploring it.
I received a nice and warm welcome, I felt very much like being home and the long week end experience in Copenhagen has been recorded as a wonderful one. Thank you!
Highly (website hidden): Emre speaks excellent Italian! ^_^
Emre's parents met us to give us the keys, and they had bought us some food to keep in the fridge, which was great after a long travel day. The house is a 2 minute walk from a beautiful pebble beach, set up with chairs and umbrellas for free. The water is crystal clear. We drove for dinner into the town of Alacati each night, which was about a 15 minute drive, but you definitely need a car! It can be warm during the day because there is no AC but there is a nice breeze at night to keep you cool. All in all, was a nice house and a great experience in Cesme!
We had a great relaxing stay. The house is just as nice as in the pictures and our hosts were kind enough to generously stock the fridge with everything one might need for a filling turkish breakfast or brunch. This is definitely a big plus and much appreciated since there are no stores nearby within walking distance.
The vinyard, olive groves and fruit garden are lovely with birds and the odd stray cat making good company. The only annoying thing can be the sound of the highway (you only hear it but don't see it), but apart from that everything was great.
Emre was also there (by phone) to help when we got lost and his parents were also helpful. If you visit the cottage, I suggest making sure you have internet on the way as this makes the place easier to find, otherwise it can be a bit tricky. Overall a good experience.
The Cottage is just lovely and cute - exactly like on the pics. The location is really good - very quiet, in the middle of nature, with a lot of privacy. Urla is a nice small town - not touristic, and close to Izmir, Alacati, Cesme. We were looking for an authentic retreat away from the hustle of Izmir - and we found it here. Thanks a lot! Recommend!
In our second stay in this cozy cottage, again we had wonderful time. We arrived very late and the food in the fridge saved our next morning breakfast. For city escapes, we love this place and Urla. This time we explored more the villages around, fish and local restaurants, ecological producers and spent more time at home. Thank you Emre and his family.
Thanks for Emre ,his mother and father.
We spent 3 beautiful days in Urla thinking whether to stay and live the property or to go see around. The cottage is more than cosy that you see in the pictures. Completely in the nature with lots of olive trees and grapes in the frontyard and fruit trees in the backyard and also very close Urla and other attractions like local wineries, local bazaars... We will definetly be back and live a bit more the property.
Thanks a lot again and hope to be there soon.
What a wonderful experience! This cozy cottage is exactly as the pictures portray. What can't be expressed by the pictures, is the friendliness of the hosts. Upon our arrival, they welcomed us warmly and had stocked our fridge with home-made delectables, including some from-the-premises wine!
The house had everything that you could want (including a wonderful old radio), for those looking to get-away from a hectic life pace. A wood-burning fireplace kept us cozy even in the coolness of evenings. It even came complete with an adorable neighbourhood cat. And the pomegranate, apple, mandarin fruit trees kept us well supplied during our stay.
Would recommend having a rental car, so that you can easily get to some of the beautiful surroundings. The only disappointment, was being able to hear the noise from the highway traffic (particularly during morning hours, while enjoying breakfast on the terrace…best drowned out by the radio).
Can't wait to go back and enjoy another holiday in this idyllic place! Thanks to Emre and his family for being such wonderful hosts:-)
Dear Emre and family, thank you for your perfect hospitality and a pre-filled fridge with food and fruits. The house is more than cozy and perfect for one couple and one additional guest. We really enjoyed our stay, the surroundings and the very nice and helpful recommendations for going out.
When we decided to have our wedding party and honeymoon in Urla we were looking for an accommodation in Urla and found Emre and his house via airbnb. The pictures are self-explanatory and we booked the house immediately.
We arrived with great expectations and we were surprised that the house was even more beautiful and cosy that we were informed via airbnb.
Also the first contact with our hosts worked perfect and we were presented with a full fridge.
We enjoyed the house as our refugium for nearly three weeks, had fresh grapes from the grapevine and were accompagnied by a cat that we named `köfte`.
The house is simple but nearly full equipped even with a dishwasher. It was really hot the first days but the house made of stone and new renovated kept cool inside and during the night the wind cooled the house also.
We also invited friends and they envied us for the perfect spot. .
We really felt in love with the house and after three weeks it was hard to leave again.
We want to say many thanks to Emre and his parents that they allowed us to stay in such a perfect holiday destination.
When we come back to Urla, for sure we will have a look at the house again.
Whoever will be our follower, congratulations that you found the house.
