Francesca and her mother Leslie are responsive, easy to communicate with, and certainly seem to be trying their best for their guests. In retrospect, we probably should have chosen a larger place to stay -- my wife and I have an 18-month-old son, and it felt too small for the three of us, though for one person, or probably even for two, it would be fine. There were some minor issues with ants in the kitchen, and unexpected landscaping work that caused some noise (Francesca and Leslie apologized profusely -- the work wasn't supposed to be during our stay -- and were kind to offer compensation for the disruption), but nothing terrible. The location is convenient to everything in Chestertown, the parking is easy, and while this wasn't a luxurious place to stay, it was sufficient for our needs.
We arrived to the apartment to find our host shoveling 6 inches of fresh snow to free a parking spot. And from there on it was all good. The apartment was as advertised with beautiful pieces of art and antiques and a very warm and very comfortable bed. The frig was filled with fine breakfast items.
A simple, cozy apartment right near downtown Chestertown. Loved being able to walk all around town. Appreciated the roses, coffee, and responsiveness of our hosts! I would stay here again.
Francesca very communicative and welcoming via email. Leslie warmly greeted me and introduced me to the apartment. Convenient location - close to town center. Apartment very clean and cosy. Breakfast supplies in fridge!!!
Very convenient location accompanied with a wonderful hostess.
This was such a charming apartment and in a very convenient location. We were in town for the weekend for the triathlons being held in Rock Hall (about 15 minutes away) and this was the perfect weekend base for my husband, daughter and puppy. The size was great, we felt right at home and we would definitely stay here again (and heartily recommend it to others).
Wonderful Host in all ways. Francesca was super prompt with replies and updates and reminders about our reservation.
She made the entire airbnb experience wonderful.
Thank you! Til next time!
