Within the Forgotten Forest in Sevier County, Tennessee, lies the Gamekeeper’s Hut, home to our most talented tamer and trainer of magical creatures. While invited guests will find comfort and restoration surrounded by the peaceful sounds and sights of the Forest, they should remain watchful for secrets being revealed, which can lead to a world of mythical beasts.

**Magical Outdoor Pool Opening Spring of 2026!**

Located close to all the wonders of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Forgotten Forest is a hidden retreat for all those wizards and witches who wish to blend with the non-magical at all the nearby tourist attractions.

The Gamekeeper’s Hut features two bedrooms with queen-sized beds that will fit the smallest pixies or largest giants, as well as a sofa sleeper for those keeping the night shift. A magnificent stone fireplace, two full baths and a well-appointed kitchen mean there’s no need to wander the woods, if your cup of tea is more an actual giant cup of tea and a good book by the fire. For those who prefer to lounge among the trees, there is a firepit, hot tub, outdoor grill and outdoor seating for regaling friends and foes with your tales of past creature quests.

Some travelers have claimed they received insight into future events by studying the ancient walls within the Hut. But definitely stay alert when wandering the Forest. The creatures that roam these lands are fond of our Gamekeeper but you might not be so fortunate. Be especially leery when wandering among the circle of stones and within the garden labyrinth. If necessary, a pink umbrella is here for your protection, should some of the less desired critters of the night come for an uninvited visit.

So shy and private is our Gamekeeper, that we’ve been asked to not share too many photos with the non-magical folk, in order to preserve the ancient secrets of cohabitating with elusive creatures. As exclusive guests of the Gamekeeper's Hut, you are welcome to visit the ancient wishing well, stone circle, mythical dragon and sword fit for giants, though children will need to be supervised around construction areas.

Other things to note
Please remember the Forgotten Forest is a work in progress! We will do our best to keep construction noise and disturbances to a minimum, but there are occasions where it will be a little messy or noisy.
