The sunny room in Rome was truly a sunny room in Rome. Each day there was a beautiful clear day. The room is divine - clean, neat, and the view is wonderful. I took pictures of the morning sunrise on some days. Barbara is completely charming and friendly and attentive to all needs. We communicated very well and she was a great hostess. Kitchen and bathroom were also excellent.

I stayed at Barbara's apartment for 5 nights in early Oct 2014. The room was perfect. Bright and comfortable. The view from the window is very special. On Sunday morning it was beautiful to wake up listening to the church bells ringing. The bathroom was very clean and plenty of place to store my things. The location of the apartment is perfect. Walkable to the Colloseum. Easy access to the red line metro too.
Barbara was a great host. Very helpful and was kind to keep her kitchen open for my use . Coffee, cereal , toast, milk everything was provided.

Though I did not get to meet Barbara, her neighbor was promptly there to show me around the house.
Absolutely recommend her place to anyone going to Rome. The room is ver spacious, with an amazing view... and with a lift in the building (in case you're traveling with bigger bags than necessary like me).
Very close to the metro but I have to say I did most of everything walking... as the apartment is honestly a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum - and from there I could walk to most of the major landmarks. That was a major benefit for me.
Barbara greeted me warmly and escorted me to my Roman living quarters. The room is spacious giving on a balcony with an astounding view on San Giovanni in Laterano!
I had mentioned to Barbara that I love classical music and would like to attend a concert during my stay in Rome, and she invited me to attend a beautiful Oratorio in an exquisite chapel in Rome!
