The space

Quartermile is a truly unique development in the heart of Edinburgh's city centre. Named Quartermile as it is a quarter of a mile to Edinburgh Castle and also a quarter of a mile from corner to corner. It's convenience to the city centre and the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars nearby make it an excellent place to stay during a trip to Edinburgh.
The apartment itself is on the second floor and is an extremely high specification. One whole wall, running along the kitchen / living area, master bedroom and second bedroom has floor to ceiling glass (with blackout blinds when you need them) and the aspect looks right along the Quartermile development offering a stunning view. The floor to ceiling kitchen window looks down to the Meadows which is a perfect area for a gentle stroll or sunbathe when it's hot. The kitchen window gets the morning sun whilst the main windows of the kitchen / living room, master bedroom and second bedroom get the evening sun - perfect for an evening drink or dinner.
There are two very spacious bedrooms - one with an en-suite bathroom with the other having a bathroom just across the hall. The apartment would be perfect for two couples or a family to enjoy.
There is lots of storage space in the apartment, all the cooking appliances you could need, washing machine and dishwasher. The flat has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay - fresh laundry, toiletries and washing up powder.
There is a 24 hour monitored underground parking space as part of the rental should you require it. There is a lift from from underground car park to the second floor hall where you'll find the door to the apartment.

The neighborhood

Quartermile is fast becoming its own little neighbourhood in the city. There are bars, restaurants, coffee shops and a Sainsbury's supermarket - so you don't have to go far if you want something quick to eat or drink, either outside or if you prefer to bring food back to cook in the apartment.

Getting around

The apartment is only a stone's throw from Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and Princes Street - so all are in easy walking distance.
Arthur's Seat, The Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace are also within walking distance, albeit a little further.
There are excellent transport links from the apartment with bus stops less than 100 yards away to take you in any direction required. There is also a taxi rank next to the bus stops.
