Our family of 4, two girls 2, 1 year old stayed for 3 nights. We saw the falls from both sides.
We were picked up at 0200 AM by Luri for a modest 50 Reais from the airport. A/C in the car and U2 on the stereo-Excellent service!
Spanish worked super with all the communication.
As previusly mentioned it is their home and we liked it a lot.
Very nice breakfast and Luri even made omeletts! Lots of fruit and good quality.
The kitchen was clean and good. We made dinner one nights for the kids since the house is a bit away from restaurants.
Luri organiced the trip to the Argentinan side. It was however 140 Reais not 130 as he said. Also we were not back until 2030. Way to late for the kids since they had not had dinner. Not a problem without kids ... and certanly not Luris fault ...
We used the pool. Very nice with the kids. Clean and spacious room, shared bathroom which was clean.
Its 300 m to the busstop (bus every 15min) which takes about 5-10min t town busstation (for change bus to falls on brazilian side)Walking distance to the mall,10min, w mercado and foodcourt. But to the center of town not walking distance, but you can take the bus.
All in all Luri (who doesn't live on the house) and his parents (lives in the house) were superfriendly and we had an excellent stay! It is however a littel bit "off"center. Great and friendly people! And Luri and his dad has alot of knowledge about the area. Good luck with your coming baby luri!
The room was very comfortable and clean! Iuri and his family were very helpful and helped us planning our days providing everything. The breakfast was delicious. I totally recommend Casa do Turista for your staying in Iguaçu! I would totally stay there again if i come back! Wish all the best for Iuri and his family!
Iuri and his family are very great hosts. I went to Iguazú for two days, and decided to stay for an extra day with them because I liked it so much there. They are very close to the international bus station, and to a large shopping centre frequented by locals (good for dinners at night)
The rooms were clean and kept up very well, and they are a very hospitable family. I had a nice time talking to them whenever we bumped into each other. Next time I go to iguazu I will be passing by Iuri's guest house again.
Iuri and his family were wonderful! We only had two days in Iguazu but Iuri helped me it amazing. The rooms were beautiful and clean and breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Iuri was able to drive us around all day and take us skydiving, to the dam, and several temples.
I highly recommend everyone to stay with Iuri. If he had airbnb in another city I would travel there just to stay with him =]
Luri was a real pleasure to work with and a fabulous host. He picked us up on time from the airport and drove us to his house. House was really nice. We had a large room with a private bathroom. Extremely clean, modern fixtures, big bathroom with great tub, and lots of space. Bed was very stiff but manageable for 2 nights. Luri recommended a great Argentina day tour company and helped us figure out how to use the bus system in Iguazu. Breakfast in the mornings was the best we had in our stay in Brazil...amazing coffee and juice, fresh fruit and pastries, and Luri even made us omelets one morning. Probably the highlight of the stay was being invited to participate in a birthday party for his mom. We had the chance to meet and visit with a lot of his family...food was amazing (like a home done churrascaria - lots of meat) and plenty of great beer and wine. Luri also allowed us to check out late since our flight was in the afternoon and even took the time to drive us to the Iguazu bird park which saved us some time and money in cab fare. Transportation to and from the airport was free! Overall we thought this was a pretty good (email hidden)ce neighborhood and close to city shopping mall. Luri and his family definitely went out of their way to make us feel like family during our stay.
Luri was a great host and made everything easy for our stay, even though we only stayed one night. Some of his family was there and it was an opportunity to meet them, everyone was friendly. We had a very large bedroom & bathroom. The common space is appealing and other guests sharing friendly conversations.
We stayed in Iuri's hous for three nights. He and his famile are great hosts. Very nice, open and friendly people. We spent a lot of time with them talking and laughing together. Each morning Yuri's mom prepared to us delicious breakfast. The house is very nice in quite good location. Highly recommended.
The location is convenient, Luri is a great host. WHe went out of his way to help us. Drove us to the Paraguay boarder and to the airport for a very fair price. Breakfast is exceptionally good, lots of fresh frood, ovenfresh rolls. Only the pool wasn´t clean, water looked greenish and ugly.
Iuri and his family are the most welcoming hosts you could wish to have. The breakfasts were amazing. I only wish we could have stayed longer and tried more varieties of the fresh juices! Although the house seems from some reviews to be off the beaten track, over our three night stay we felt that Foz do Iguaçu is an oddly laid out little city and the walk to bars and restaurants is not all that bad. Iuri is willing to offer lifts in to town and airport pick-up and drop off (including an invaluable dawn airport drop-off for anyone getting the 6am flight out of Foz) as well as a ride to various tourist destinations for a reasonable fee. Just bear in mind that he only accepts cash for these and the nearest cash machine is in the Mall which is a ten minute walk away
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
