About This Listing
Hi all! The apartment consists of three rooms, each of them has a different theme: Godafther, La Dolce Vita and the Gladiator.. You will discover the very unknown parts of the movies and their backstages, you will dive into their life, while staying in the city centre of Rome, just in front of S.Giovanni Basilica and on the top of subway stop!!
The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms, kitchen and shared bathroom.
The room has a double bed and two rooms ("Godfather" and "The sweet life") has the possibility to add a third bed, with high-speed internet wireless and wired, it is very sunny during the day and very silent at night, huge wardrobe.
The bathroom is very bright and spacious with tube, with large shower and everything you need.
The area where the flat is located is called San Giovanny, by the nearby Basilica and is well known as the open-air-mall of Rome, as just below there are kilometers of shops selling leisure, accessories, excellent ice-creams,restaurants and every and single thing you could need!.
The flat offers you a great combination of both location and comforts. Everything you need is close at hand, the area is safe, the flat both wide and modern. To understand it, just check out the pictures of the flat.
It is 15 minutes walk away from Colosseum and from historical center; anyway there are plenty of buses and tram just under the apartment. The place is very well connected with Termini/Tuscolana train station as well as Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.
All of the comforts are available, including washing machine, high-speed internet and so on.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Martina. She was very polite and hospitable, showing my friend and I around the suite. What I thought was really neat with this BnB is the fact they provide you a smart phone to contact them if ever lost or need information; it's their way of inviting you to explore Roma without worry. The breakfast was clever, as our BnB paired up with a local bar (espresso bar), providing us free cafe's and cornetto's (croissants) in the morning. The room was very clean and tidy, as well as really nicely decorated! We stayed in the Godfather room. Overall it was a fabulous place and I would recommend Pietro's place to anyone!
The process of organising the room was easy and Pietro responded to my messages very quickly.
The quality of the stay depends on the type of people staying in the two other rooms in the apartment. For the number of people residing at the same time, one bathroom is perhaps a little insufficient (potentially up to 8 people at once). Both the bathroom and kitchen are a little outdated. Kitchen has a fridge but no freezer and there aren't enough utensils.
For an extended stay the bed is quite uncomfortable as you can feel the springs and your back suffers. The noise level was quite high at times as the room looks out onto a busy street. (There is a green grocer who receives deliveries at 5am almost every morning). So be prepared to be woken up at odd times.
Staff who maintained the apartment are friendly, approachable and come by frequently to clean and restock essentials. It is in a good location close to shops and transport, though walking to the main attractions is doable.
I would recommend this place as a 1 or 2 night stay for someone passing through but not for a relaxing holiday.
Pietro was very responsive to all my questions, responding within 10 minutes. The breakfast in the morning was a nice touch and delicious. We enjoyed our stay in Rome. There is one bathroom you have to share with other guests so make sure you have enough time to get ready in the mornings if you have to be somewhere. The only complaints I have is that The bathroom on some days did have a strange public bathroom smell to it and the hook to the shower head wouldn't keep it up. It can get a little loud depending on the guests. Good location and great service so I would still recommend staying here. Thanks! Of note: make sure when unlocking the front door, you pull forward to unlock.
The room is awesome. It can fit 3 people and the location is good. A few minutes walk away from the metro and is located at a quiet street. There's a small super market opposite and we can buy our groceries there. The host is nice. Our flight got delay and she waited for us. Even gave us a phone to use. Will definitely recommend :)

About the Host, Pietro And His Friends!
Myself and a group of friends decided to open up our homes in Rome to all the good people who want to enjoy Rome, even if only for a few days! I (Pietro) was born and grew up in Rome. I also work in the travel industry and am more than happy to share my knowledge with you. My friends and I (we call ourselves “DoYouBnb”) really like being in contact with people from all over the world. We come from all over the world (mostly Rome but also Germany, Afghanistan and France) and all of us have a passion for travel. For example I've have lived in Egypt, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Sweden, Spain and have also travelled to Brazil, Chile, Rwanda, Uganda, Morocco, Turkey, Greece, France, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland and... so on!
We love exchanging cultural tips and experiences with people we meet. We are excited to be a part of your trip to Rome and hope it is a unique experience. When you are happy it makes us happy!
Beside that I love biking, photography and music. I am always game for discussing pretty much anything!
We are a close group of friends and are happy to share our happiness and passion for Rome with you! :)
