Welcome to the McKenzie River Hideaway, a charming retreat tucked among the trees in the heart of the Log Cabin Inn complex on the scenic McKenzie River. Perfect for couples, small families, or solo adventurers, this 2BR/2BA cabin is equipped with updated furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, and luxurious linens, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee beneath a wool Pendleton blanket on the screened-in porch just 50 feet from the banks of the river!

The space
The cabin is designed around its best feature: the McKenzie River. Large windows fill the living room with river views, while the screened-in porch sits close enough to the water that its sound becomes the backdrop to morning coffee, evening meals, and quiet conversation.

Inside, the warm and inviting living area features comfortable seating, a gas fireplace, and plenty of space to unwind after a day outdoors. The well-equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, cookware, utensils, and a Nespresso Vertuo Deluxe coffee machine for an easy start to the morning.

The main-floor bedroom features a king-size memory foam mattress. The upstairs bedroom offers three twin sleeping spaces, including a trundle, also with memory foam mattresses. Two updated full bathrooms make the cabin especially comfortable for families and small groups. Linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and extra wool blankets are all provided. If you plan to bring towels to nearby attractions such as the hot springs or the river, we woudl greatly appreciate if you could bring swim-towels along with you.

The location makes it easy to enjoy the best of the McKenzie River corridor. The cabin is just half a mile from the western terminus of the McKenzie River Trail, with hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting, waterfalls, and hot springs all nearby. Obsidian Grill and the McKenzie General Store are also within easy walking distance.

Whether you spend the day exploring or stay close to home with a book by the fire, the McKenzie Hideaway offers a peaceful place to slow down and reconnect.

Please note that a Ring camera monitors the exterior entrance to the property. To help preserve the tranquility of this special setting, guests must observe the complex’s quiet hours from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. and follow all community guidelines.
