We had such a fantastic stay in Trastevere. Domitilla was fantastic and gave us lots of very good tips. We had our best ever gelato at frigidarium thanks to Domitilla. I loved being in Trastevere and found it not as touristy as over the other side of the river. The apartment was great for our family of four. I look forward to being able to go back and stay again. Thank you for having us at your apartment.
Domitilla was a fantastic host and everything was as expected. The location couldn't have been any better as there were tons of restaurants and shops close by the apartment. Also, she was kind enough to book car transfers when we arrived and left the apartment. We would recommend this location and of course would recommend Domitilla as a host.
Great great great location!!! The place was beautiful and lovely to stay in! :)
This is a roomy, comfortable no-frills apartment in a terrific location. We stayed for two weeks, one week with two adults and the other with four adults. The neighborhood is great, and is within walking distance to all the major sites. There is a lot of street noise and partying on the week-ends, which is blocked by closing the windows (could be a problem in the summer heat). The shower is terrific. The kitchen is adequate but not really set up for cooking anything more complicated than pasta or snacks (e.g. no bread knife/cutting board, random lightweight pots and pans). There is no oven. There is a great bread store and fresh pasta across the street, as well as plenty of restaurants and a nearby grocery store. We only saw the hostess/owner very briefly at the very beginning, but they addressed problems with the lights and got us a coffee pot the first day. You need to be able to walk up two steep flights of steps. I think that the apartment is probably most appropriate for short-time stays.
