For a truly authentic and local San Franciscan experience, stay with us in one of the city's most popular neighborhoods- The Inner Sunset. Our remodeled 1912 Edwardian home is a perfect base to explore by foot the many local shops, restaurants, museums and of course the infamous Golden Gate Park. We are just a block from main Muni lines allowing for easy and fast connection to other parts of the city.

The space
YOUR ROOM
To comply with Covid 19 health and safety regulations, We thoroughly clean, disinfect, and sanitize between every guest. Minimal or no interaction is necessary if desired after check-in.
Furnished with a plush queen mattress, memory foam pillows, and plenty of closet storage, your private room has direct access to a large balcony. You are welcome to enjoy the shared balcony area. Might we suggest sipping coffee or tea with the sunrise? The room is also ready with fresh linens and towels, a 40” flat screen, skylight with retractable cover, and floor heating. We’re certain you’ll find the space comfortable, quiet and perfect after a long day exploring.

BATHROOM
This full and detached bathroom is directly next to your room. Please note this is a technically shared bathroom. Although it typically gets very little use, it does serve as my Guest/Occasional-Use-From-my-Son bathroom.
* laundry: wash/dry $10 per load.

KITCHEN
You are welcomed to use the refrigerator to store items needing refrigeration. Ice and filtered water is available via the fridge dispenser. You can also use the microwave if needed. Please refrain from any food prep/cooking. Mugs are provided in your room. If cleaning is required, please put in dishwasher.

LIVING ROOM/DININ ROOM
No guest access

LOCATION
San Francisco is known for it’s many and diverse neighborhoods with no official “city center”. The Inner Sunset has been a long standing and popular home to an array of delicious restaurants and coffee shops, bars and grocery stores, you'll find everything you need just a few blocks in any direction. We are just:
5-10 min walk: Golden Gate Park, The De Young Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, and Academy of Sciences, Botanical Gardens, Conservatory of Flowers
10-15 min walk: Sharon Meadows, Hippie Hill, Haight Ashbury, UCSF hospital
20 min walk: Haight/Ashbury, Panhandle, Cole Valley
15-20 min drive/bus: Ocean Beach, Cliff House, Land’s End, Presidio, Crissy Fields, Union Square

Guest access
You’ll have coded lock access. You come and go as you please. There is a 25 step flight of stairs to the 3rd floor.

Regular check in time is 4pm.

We are a low-key family of two. I am semi-retired, but busy. My son is a busy Arborist. We want you to be as comfortable with us as we are with you, so please ensure your profile, photo, and messages are reflective of who we will be inviting into our home.
