About this listing
The eat in kitchen has been recently renovated with a deck over looking the backyard with Roses, Peach Trees, a Koi Pond, gas grill and a lot of PRIVACY even though we are only a block from Massachusetts Ave.
We recently installed a whole house water filter -meaning all of the water you drink and wash and bath with is as PURE as the water you pay for in bottles! This was one of the of big home investments made this year. So you can feel good about drinking from the tap! And even better about taking a shower or bath! I love clean water!
This place is - Super convenient, there is parking for one car, a bus stop on the corner. You can - Walk to just about everything you need, including The Capital Theatre - a great local movie house, the Maida drug store on the corner just a few feet away, Giles Fine wine and Liquor store just around the corner, fine dining as well as the Arlington Diner a local diner just across the street for casual meals, ZA pizza , dry cleaners- you name it and it is probably here! Even a great gluten free bakery!
We are just down the road from Harvard Square - hop on the bus foot steps from your apartment and in minutes you are in Cambridge or Boston - so staying here is relaxing - with out the congestion of the city.

Trader Joe's in Arlington Heights and Whole Foods is now open in Arlington Center. Yeah!
We used to own a B&B in Ogunquit, Maine and loved the experience. We are enjoying the experince of meeting wonderful people from around our beautiful planet!
This amazing Universe sent us our new kitty -
his name is Apollo, he's a cream Persian and he was a rescue - abandoned at 9 y.o. - now happily here! Love - Love - Love - is all he is!
All my best,
To back yard and barbeque grill outside of the apartment.

Daphne's place is very spacious, clean and had every amenity we could need. Great location close to Cambridge. We would definitely stay there again!
Great place in a great location. Daphne is a thoughtful, gracious host. The apartment is spotless, and it's close to restaurants and bike/walking path to local ponds. Nice 15-minute walk to Alewife T station, so it's fairly easy to get all over the city without a car. Recommend it!
The unit was great, every thing as described. Host was accommodating and was very gracious when my flight was delayed until 3AM to leave the keys. Everything was amazing. Pretty convenient walk to Alewife T-Stop (10mins or so) which made it simple to commute into Boston for work. I would definitely recommend this place!
Daphne and Diane were very gracious, warm hosts. The home was immaculate, the garden truly was spectacular and magical. We were close to all transportation yet far enough from Boston to enjoy the peace and tranquility this space offered! Loved it!
REALLY cute place to stay. Nice host and perfect location! Definitely recommended!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment was impeccably clean and the backyard was a fantastic setting for a relaxing dinner.
This is a very special place. I wish there had been more time for us to enjoy the backyard and patio, which only added to the genuinely comfortable feeling about this home. The location was an easy drive to Fenway area and other parts of Boston and gave us the chance briefly to explore a neighborhood we would not have otherwise known about. Great renovated duplex in a neat neighborhood. If you have a car while in Boston area this is also a great place because of the private driveway, which adds to the convenience with no worry about parking or related expense when you arrive back late.
