I have lived in Dallas since 1980 so I'll be glad to tell you some of the local places to go and what to do around town.
You are welcome to use my coolers and fishing poles during your stay.
Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dinning/living area, swimming pool and back patio.
Interaction with guests
It depends on both of our schedules. I have spent many hours speaking and hanging out with past guest. Even cooked for some and some cooked for me. LGBT friendly. I have friends from all over the world so I have been exposed to pretty much every culture. Happy and I are social butterflies. So it's important to interact with both of us. ;-)
Other things to note
I have friends that speak Spanish and Filipino if you need a translator.
One thing I learned this winter is most people don't realize our coldest month is February so you can run into snow and ice in Dallas. Because it doesn't happen often, I would like to inform my guess that the City of Dallas is not prepared to make the roads safe for travel. Keep this in mind if planning vacation here.
First of all, enjoy yourself during your stay
Please pick up after yourself
Respect my home and Happy (my dog) she will be your buddy if you let her.
No smokers, no smoking inside or out/No pets
Park in spots that are not covered and/or reserved. Must placard on rear view mirror.
I'm originally from South Austin. I love Dallas and raised my Daughter here. But I try to go back home as much as time will allow.
Since I have been hosting I have met the greatest people and take such joy in hosting them.
Happy is my dog you see in the pictures and she brings great joy to the ones that stay here. It makes Happy, Happy!
