I rent out my apartment in the Born area. It is 1 minute from metro Jaume I, 1 minute from the Picasso Museum, 1 minute from the Santa Caterina Market and 5 minutes from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Mar.
The apartment is bright and located on the 1st floor. Its a one room apartment, with a wall with storage space separating living room from bedroom. It has a queen size bed and a sofa bed for two people. A kitchen and toilet with a small shower (70x70cm). The apartment also has a balcony with sun most of the day.
The apartment includes bed linen, towels, kitchen supplies, fridge freezer, oven, washing machine, hairdryer, WiFi and baby crib if you are travelling with your baby.
On the same street you will find pharmacies, fast food, bike rental and around the corner a larger supermarket.

We were in Barcelona for 3 nights and absolutely loved Linda's place. You cannot beat the location. It's a 2 minute walk from Santa Caterina Market, Picasso Museum, Santa Maria del Mar Church, and countless shops, eateries, etc. The list goes on. Another 5 minutes and you're in Barceloneta where paella reigns supreme. 5 minutes in the other direction and you're well on your way up La Rambla which leads just about anywhere you want to go.
Linda was very helpful as we were getting situated and checked in on us during our stay to make sure all was good. It's not the biggest place, but if all you're looking for is a clean comfortable place to lie your head and grab a shower, then this is perfect.
My wife and I give it a 10 out of 10.
We loved this apartment! We spent the last week in February here and were very happy. The location is perfect for walking around the old city and the nearby St Caterina Market made grocery shopping a snap. There are numerous small bars and cafes in the neighborhood and it is within walking distance of most tourist attractions.
The apartment itself is exactly as pictured in the photographs: it is simple, charming, immaculate and furnished with everything you are likely to need. Sure the shower is small, but it posed no problem for us and the main living spaces were comfortable. The kitchen is small but very well furnished - we happily and easily cooked breakfast every day there. There isn't much of a view, but opening the windows flooded the apartment with light and energy from the neighborhood. At night with the windows closed, I could sometimes hear chatting pedestrians walking by, but it was not overly noisy. For a first-floor, city center apartment, I felt it was very private and quiet.
Linda went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed: she bought us an umbrella since it was raining when we arrived and furnished the place with small but useful items (space heater, hair dryer, good corkscrew, tourist maps, etc.). She was easy to communicate with (both before and during the stay), she was reliable (showed up on time and did what she said she would) and she really seemed to care that we had a nice visit.
We were sorry to leave and would love to stay here on our next trip to Barcelona!
Great location, great host. The bathroom is small, you probably won't fit if you are taller than 5'10.
Very cozy studio in the heart of El Borne district and very close to El Bar Mundial and other cool places! We stayed only 1 night but still got time to enjoy the APT.
Lynda was very helpful and answered all our queries right away, thanks for letting us stay @ your place!
Had a great stay at Linda's place. Exactly as per description and pics. True that it can get noisy in the evening but that did not bother us at all.
Will go back for sure
Oh, and for those driving to the place, there's an underground parking 2-min walk!
We enjoyed our stay in Linda's appartement a lot. The location is great and Linda was very helpful.
You'll find everything you need nearby, including a marcet one block away. The equiped kitchen allows you to cook for yourself and have breakfast in the appartment.
You should be aware of a few things already mentioned before. The narrow staircase and the noise might be annoying but I guess this is simply a part of the city. Also the bathroom and the shower are indeed tiny.
The central location allows you to visit a lot without using the subway, which makes the sightseeing very comfortable.
Linda's place is in a great location! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed - although the bathroom was tiny. The staircase was very narrow so getting there with bulky luggage might be tricky. We were grateful to have a heater, as December in Barcelona can be cold. Very cozy place and the Host was helpful at every stage of our trip.
I can certainly recommend Linda's cozy flat in the heart of historical part of the city in Barcelona. You will find everything on your doorstep here.
Sure, you'll hear people chatter on the street in the evenings, but that's part of the atmosphere and it's not a rowdy area at all. If you are noise sensitive, then bring some earplugs. It's worth it for this location and the lovely flat, that's for sure. Thanks for a good stay, Linda.
The area is a perfect spot for exploring Barcelona, to mix up with local life and "feel the heartbeat" of the city.
The apartment is small, clean and has its own low - key charm with a lot of light in it and minimalistic design.
Linda is really friendly and nice.
Noise level is a bit too high (streets are very narrow!) for a truly relaxing night sleep and the shower is a bit too small however for a weekend getaway these details are not going to spoil the overall positive experience.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! Linda was so accommodating and helpful. Its a great location and walking distance to the beach and many bars and museums.
We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to experience "real Barca"
Thanks again we had such a lovely time
