Our apartment is right in the heart of technology square in Cambridge, one block away from cafes, upscale bars, and a pool hall, and 2 blocks away from a movie theater. We are on the edge of MIT's campus and a 7 minute train ride to Harvard.
The Kendall Square subway stop is only a 10-minute walk away, where there are also multiple fine dining options for a nice night out on the town. There are multiple Hubway bicycle rental spots within several blocks of the apartment, in case you want to ride around the city on a nice sunny day.
Due to it's central location, you can get anywhere in Boston within 30 minutes from our apartment. The center of the city is only a 10 minutes by train.
I'm committed to making your experience in Boston a great one and look forward to helping you enjoy your stay.

An apartment with basic amenities. E-mail instructions to get in and leave were fine. The room was clean and had a non-firm bed and a couple of small bookshelves. As noted in other reviews it feels like a dorm. Compared to other Cambridge apartments I have stayed at, this was not as nice. But I just needed a place to sleep and have breakfast as I was out at MIT all day. I briefly saw the other roommates, but there was hardly any conversation. Overall, a good value.
The space was well located.
The check-in and check-out process was simple and easy.
Slept fine in the bed.
Ti made everything very easy: directions were clear and helpful, clean space. Great location. We had a coach stay there for the Head of the Charles regatta- convenient location and fit his basic needs.
The check-in instructions were clear and very straight-forward.
The bedroom in is very basic. It is as it appears in the listed picture, except you have to make your own bed when you arrive.
I was only in Boston for 4 nights on holiday and didn't attempt to cook in the kitchen so I can't comment on how usable that area is. However there were 2 main concerns with the bathroom. There is no lock on the door, which shouldn't be the case in any property, let alone one where strangers are privately renting together. There were also a number of loose tiles on the floor in the bathroom floor, which is clearly dangerous.
On the whole I think the room is a reasonable,I relatively cheap option in the Cambridge/Boston area if the issues with the bathroom get sorted out.
The location is the best thing about this place. It also has a kitchen and washer/dryer that worked fine, and wifi internet (although this was very slow when I was there). The room is simple but ok. A very handy place if you want to live close to MIT. The only real hickup was that the key was not were it was supposed to be when I came late in the evening. But I called Garrett, and he sorted it out. The other guest who was there had experienced the same thing, no key, so it seems that is something that happens. I would definitely consider coming back if I need a place to stay in Boston again.
The room was exactly as described, and my wife and I greatly appreciated having a good place to crash after long days of sightseeing in Boston.
Things we enjoyed here:
* Lots of room to unpack and settle in
* Convenient location (10 mins or less from Kendall station)
* Extremely QUIET neighborhood, so you can actually get some sleep
* Solid, speedy wifi
* Plenty of room in the kitchen to store food and prepare meals
* Copious amounts of clean towels and linens
* Easy check-in and retrieving of keys
Things that were not ideal, but manageable:
* The bed is EXTREMELY NOISY. If you're like me and you toss 'n' turn a lot, you will wake yourself (and your companion) up every time you make the slightest move. And if the two of you are more, uh, "active" ... I have no doubt you will wake up the entire house with the noisy bed.
* The quiet neighborhood has few amenities nearby, unless you count Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and a mini-mart. If you're on foot (as one usually is in Boston), the nearest good, sit-down restaurants are at least 15 minutes away.
* The shared kitchen had lots of plates, bowls, and cups, but apparently only one fork. Given that there are 3 rooms in the property, others may want to use that fork at the same time you do! :) Maybe there was more silverware and I just couldn't find it...
Our only major gripe with this room is the bathroom. A shared bathroom is no problem, but this bathroom is in dire need of upgrades and improvements. A half dozen tiles in the middle of the bathroom were loose and might be a recipe for midnight foot injury. The shower was kind of grungy and the water was not high-pressure by any means.
Overall, we had a positive stay. We were able to recover and relax from each long day, heat up some leftovers, and get a decent night's sleep. It's no frills, but it gets the job done!
Ti himself was not available, but the self check-in worked just fine. Indeed everything is self-directed: you check yourself in, make your own bed, and you can do some laundry and cooking for yourself too, which is nice. The apartment feels more like a hostel with private rooms (especially the signs 'Do your dishes', 'Keep the bathroom clean') rather than the staying in someone's home experience that is more typical of Airbnb. The room itself is nothing special (you get a a bed, that's it) but the location is great with a metro stop, several places to eat, and an organic supermarket in walking distance. Unfortunately I saw little of the other guests nor did I meet Ti, but he was quick to reply and fix the instable internet when I contacted him.
