When we realized that a cat came with the accommodation, we asked Camille to cancel our booking. She was very gracious about it, realizing that an allergy is not a good thing to have--especially when traveling.
Thank you for a great stay in Salt Lake City, Camille's place was great for the price, location and everything we needed. It was walking distance to the whole foods, restaurants and the university. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to the city, also the hot tub in the back yard and patio is a big plus too.
Great location and cute, clean place. I would highly recommend this place if you are a cat person. Tiggs the cat is very vocal and need to be let in and out of the house.
We didn't actually meet Camille, but she was very pleasant. The home is in a nice neighborhood and is clean and comfortable. I think in most situations this would easily be considered a 4-star stay. I am giving it 3 stars for our stay, personally. The weekend we spent there, it was over 100 degrees. Unfortunately, the a/c in the home is not adequate to cool the entire house, so we ended up having to pull the mattress off the bed and place it in the front room where the main a/c vent is. Also, because it was not explained in detail, we spend the first 24 hours wondering whether we were supposed to keep the cat inside, even though he clearly wanted out. Finally, the automated email I received with the house details had old information for the wi-fi, so I was not able to work my first evening in town. Yes, I realize this sounds like nitpicking, and I agree. It wasn't the end of the world. I really think most people will find this a very good stay for a very good rate, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Oh, the bed is very comfortable!
We have lived here for close to 6 years during the blistering hot summers and some very cold winters. We have central heating and cooling with registers in all the rooms including bathroom. Our thermostat is pre programmed for some averages. For the exceptionally hot and cold times our guests can set the thermostat for any temperature they like. We have a basic Honeywell thermostat in open view on the living room wall. Oversight on the internet password was our fault. We do have it along with some other pertinent home information, cat instructions, etc attached to the refrigerator via magnet. Overall we do strive to make the best experience for our Airbnb customers and do wish the stay would have been four stars. Thanks very much for the business and taking care of our home.
The host is very laid-back, and provided us with a relaxed experience. The descriptions of the apartment are pretty accurate, and the place has every amenity we need for the week. The neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors are helpful. Tiggie the cat is funny to watch, and provides entertainments for our stay.
A delightful small home in a great location! Communication with Camille was quick and clear. The house was very clean and extremely well-equipped. Tiggs, the cat, was fun to have around and made being away from our own furry buddies easier. The location is convenient (easy walking distance) to public transportation, shops, and many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time staying in Camille's home in Salt Lake City. Camille was kind enough to lend us her bike, which made getting around easy. Tiggs the cat is also great company, and loves spending time with you whenever you're in. We had no issues but be aware Tiggs is very friendly so if you don't like cats this may not be the place for you. Great quiet location, good communication, thanks very much.
