  • Anna warmly welcomed us into her lovely home and we immediately felt like family. The art and nature found throughout make for a wonderful vacation feeling. There also was a terrific breakfast, Anna's sweet dog Ellie May, and I so enjoyed our easy and thoughtful conversations.

Anna is a lovely person and we were privileged to enjoy a stay at her home.

  • We had a great time at Anna's place in Montclair, using this as a base to visit NY. Anna is a gracious host and has a pretty house full of art. Montclair is a peaceful suburb, very green. It does take time to get to Manhattan - we actualy appreciated escaping to the calm of Montclair after a noisy day in Manhattan. Anna makes the best breakfast in the US, so don't rush, make the most of it!

  • We currently own a house in the area, but are on an overseas assignment for work. Another family is renting our house, so we needed a place to stay while visiting friends and family. We were looking to save a little money, so we found Anna on the Airbnb website and we were not disappointed. Anna is a lovely and friendly host. We quickly felt like we were staying with a friend rather than a stranger. We look forward to spending time with Anna when we move back to the area. Her breakfasts are so tasty and filling, and we love her doggy, Elie May. Anna was great with our 9 year old son, even giving him informal piano lessons. Overall, this was a great experience and we would definately stay with Anna again.

  • Anna is a wonderful hostess! She is warm and welcoming, and a great conversationalist, too. She was so helpful in many ways, and made our first stay in an unfamiliar area a most pleasant one.
Her home is in a lovely neighborhood, not far from restaurants and parks.
And Yes, her homemade oatmeal is delicious!
    Thank you for everything, Anna

  • I spent five and a half happy weeks with Anna and Ellie-May and plan to return. The house is comfortable and conveniently located for transport to New York/New Jersey and for exploring beautiful Montclair. Anna was very welcoming and helpful. She even made me chicken soup when I had a cold and invited me to the neighbourhood street party. I have no hesitation in recommending Anna’s home to anyone planning to visit the area.

I am an architect and an artist. I came from Poland in 1969, graduated from Pratt Institute and later raised two amazing and successful children. I have worked most of my life in NYC in large architectural firms, and now (in this economy) I piece my income doing many creative things and running this bnb. My passions are hosting, visual arts, poetry, dance, theatre and architecture. I have an interest in Buddhism as a way of life. I am told I am a hostess with the mostest...
