Our stay was lovely. Rosella kindly picked us upfrom the bus station. The apartment was lovely with a large balcony and very clean. Everything was close by. We had a lovely stay. I would highly recommend this apartment.

We had to book 5 nights with Rosella very last minute as our previous host had to cancel, however, Rosella was very helpful and replied immediately and met us at the house the next day despite the short notice. The house is lovely with a big sun terrace with views across Modica, which is a real bonus. The house had everything we needed for the 2 of us, but the inside living space may be a little tight for larger groups. Modica has lots of nice (and cheap) restaurants, and if you have your own car its very easy to get out to the beach and many other local towns. Lovely place for a relaxed stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay of two nights at Rosellas place. She picked us up in central Modica, guided us to a free parking nearby and and to her convenient located flat. The rather small apartment - the two of us stayed in the upper floor only - is nicely decorated and well equiped, with two rooms attached. The open and large terrace is superb, although a bit noisy as it faces to one of the main roads of the town. Rosella recommended a nice trattoria close by (Il Girasole), where we had fine food and wine twice. She even fixed the wi-fi connection overnight which we appreciated very much. A great stay!

Excellent location in great part of town. Close enough to free street parking. Living area is a little cramped for a family of 4, but overall this is an excellent apartment. Loved the view from the balcony.

We had a lovely stay in this central old apartment. Easy access to the old Town and restaurants and a great patio to enjoy breakfast and evenings

Rossella was a nice host when we arrived. She explained everything to us and even left some delicious cookies. The apartment is perfect for one or two persons, equipped with everything you need and a great sunny terrace. The heating (via air condition) saved us from the cold but I guess it's better to stay there during the warmer months. All in all good value!

We stayed in October with 4 people (3 adults and 1 child) at the Baroque and Xoxolatl. We arrived fairly late and Rosella met us at the arranged location close to the flat. She was very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know in the apartment. The flat is centrally located in the old part of Modica and is true to its description. We enjoyed our stay very much and the proximity to shops and restaurant. Free parking was fairly easily to find nearby. The apartment being in the city makes it of course susceptible to some street noise which is particularly noticeable in the upper part. The downstairs one is very quite in comparison. As the weather was still great, we enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony. The apartment is very much furnished for people who would spend most of the day exploring which is a real shame as with the wonderful balcony one could spend an afternoon there relaxing if only there was more comfortable seating available. All in all we were happy with everything but in the interest of full disclosure have a few suggestions for improvement. The bathroom upstairs is prone to flooding and has a very small sink that is not suitable to wash anything more than your hands. The kitchenettes desperately need a kettle to boil water as it takes forever on the gas stove. A small microwave to warm up some milk would not go amiss either. A few more dishtowels and some sharp kitchen knifes to prepare a salad are also missing.

Response from Rossella:
Thank you so much for the suggestions, we are a little bit displeased for these inconveniences because usually we are very availables to resolve immediately any problems during the stay of ours guests. For the next time, I hope to receive a message to resolve immediately any problem, the most important thing for me is that our guests during his stay must feel like at his home. Anyway, for the bathroom I resolved the problem but I don't want remove the sink :), I think to wash the hands and teeth is enough. For the kitchen, usually we don't use a kettle, but now I know! English people consume a lot of tea :) and I will buy one of this. The same one for dish towels and sharp kitchen knifes, but I don't want to buy a small microwave because we are sicilian and in Sicily to cook we use the fire and not electromagnetic waves :). I enjoyed a lot my guests and I hope to see them early
