Peaceful log cabin on an 8 acre property. Truly a gem to enjoy: a quiet, relaxing, cozy, sunlit cabin with a vaulted ceiling. Beautiful gardens, warm electric fireplace, and steps away from Atkins Reservoir and hiking trails. You will feel secluded but close to local attractions. Umass only 7 minutes away and close to Amherst College, Hampshire College, Smith College, and Mount Holyoke as well.

The space
The Cabin:
Beautiful open floor plan cabin/pool house with 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. You can enjoy drinking your coffee on the deck in the morning or your fresh made dinner in the evening. Relax by the pool and take a refreshing dip. If you are visiting in the winter, snuggle up on the couch, turn on the electric fire place, and sip a warm cup of coffee/tea.

We are located within 7 min of Umass and 10 min of Amherst College. Our listing is Northeast of the campuses, which is awesome for high traffic travel times. Most people visiting these campuses are coming from the other directions.

Even though we are within 10 minutes of the Colleges and Amherst Center, we are nestled on the North side of Mount Boreas, kitty corner to the Atkins Reservoir, and steps away from Robert Frost Trails. You will find yourself surrounded by quiet wilderness and only a short drive to everything else you need.

Cushman's Market and Café is a popular local spot just a 1.5 miles down the road with free wifi, great wine and beer selection, and trendy conveniences.

I do not live on property, but my mother and step father reside in the main house. You will be provided with their home phone number and my mother's call phone for additional support.

The guest door is located half way around the right side of the home (in a little alcove). This is your private entrance. You will be provided a keyless entry code before you arrive. This gives you the freedom to check in anytime between 4p and 12a and check out anytime before 10a.
