Perched on a serene Appalachian foothill, this cozy cabin offers the best of both worlds: peaceful seclusion in a quiet, private neighborhood, yet close to all the attractions and activities that make the High Country so special. Whether you're seeking a tranquil hideaway or ready to explore the nearby adventures, Bears Repeatin’ is the ideal spot for your next mountain getaway.

The space
With an open floorplan, the cabin is the quintessential mountain retreat. Log-cabin construction on the outside to wood planking floor-to-ceiling inside, you are instantly enveloped in mountain charm and hospitality.

Outside, you’re greeted by a wooden walkway down a few stairs and onto a covered front porch with seating near the 4-person hot tub. A quick turn to the left leads you on a path down the side of the house to the firepit area in back.

Entering the front door, you are immediately standing in the open dining/living room space. A full-featured kitchen is to your right: with oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and every cooking or dining utensil you could need. The dining room table seats six, so the whole family can enjoy your meals together when you’re not exploring the area’s restaurants.

Beyond the dining room, the living room has ample, over-stuffed seating: including a leather sofa with motorized reclining and a comfy loveseat, all facing the 55” HD TV and the gas fireplace that’s perfect to add to the mountain retreat aesthetic.

Off to the right is a short hallway leading you first to the laundry facilities (full-sized washer and dryer), and beyond that, the king-sized bed of the downstairs master. In this bedroom, you’ll find a 39” HDTV, board games in the chifforobe, and ample closet and dresser space to fully unpack. The attached bathroom features a full-sized tub and shower with a single vanity and toilet.

Back in the family room, go through the back door to the covered back deck. Take an hour or more sitting on the Adirondack gliders and enjoying the view (day) or crickets at night and simply let the silence wash away the cares of life. And if you want to grill out, use the propane grill on the deck for accessible meal-making.

Back inside, head up the stairs to find the loft - a socializing space with a comfortable sofa-bed and a combination poker/bumperpool table facing a 32” HDTV that’s attached to a Playstation 2 (with games). A small library with a variety of books/novels is also there in case you left your reading material at home. The loft looks out over the living room and is surrounded by windows to give you views of the mountains and sky.

Off the loft is the queen-sized bed in the upstairs master. It also has its own private full-sized bath, dressers and HDTV, rounding out this cozy cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Guest access
Guests have private full run of the house except for the owner’s closet upstairs.

Other things to note
Please note that we are in the mountains and accessible only by narrow, winding, and sometimes gravel, roads. Passibility is a concern, especially during inclement weather. A 4WD vehicle is highly recommended to ensure ease of access.

All TV’s are powered by Roku devices. You are able to sign into any streaming service you have (and your account information is removed at the end of your stay), but local stations aren’t guaranteed.
