Have you always wanted to see the Big Island? Located on beautiful Banyan Drive, this one room condo is in an old resort. This is perfect for 2+ people. Both Queen Liliuokalani Gardens and Coconut Island are just a stroll down the street, as well as Reed's Bay Beach Park
It is right on the water, with a beautiful view of both seaside and Mauna Kea. It is 5 minutes from Hilo Bayfront, 5 minutes from the airport, and only 10-15 minutes from the closest mall area.
With such a lush setting, there are many free sites to see, just 10-20 minutes away, such as Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls, Lava tubes, and about 40 minutes from Hot Ponds. "Four Mile" beach and Richardson's are just minutes away. For activities and outing, there is a tiny lunch sized cooler, medium sized cooler, beach towels, umbrella, rollup beachmat, and foldaway stadium chair.
No need to spend a fortune on food. There are plenty of cheap eats, or just go grocery shopping and hit farmers market for fruits and veggies. I recently had both Cable TV a Wireless internet installed.
The kitchenette has two burners, but no oven. However, there is microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and a small blender.
More than 2 people can be a squeeze, with a Queen bed and an air mattress, but it can be done.
The building is quite old, and occasionally the elevators break down so be prepared just in case. My unit is on the fourth floor.
These are the tropics, so despite preventative measures, you may still see the occasional ant or bug.
Feel free to contact me for more details
There is a separate key for the pool access, and will be in the unit.
This is island life, so to help prevent the spread of ants and other critters, please take your own trash down to the dumpster. It is close to impossible to get rid of them all, so there are still bugs here and there.
Please check in at the front desk upon arrival and departure just in case of an emergency.
There is not central air conditioning. In the unit there is a fan and dehumidifier.
This is my personal condo, so please respect the belongings that are stored away. My agent of record is based in Hilo, yet I am on mainland on East Coast, just as an FYI in case of contact needed.
