About This Listing
This is the best way to see NYC!
The suite is part of a two level home with garden located just three blocks from Prospect Park, in beautiful Park Slope, Brooklyn which was recently voted "the best neighborhood in NYC" by New York Magazine.
The available space is a large master suite on the lower level so you'll have plenty of privacy. It even has its own entrance. There's a comfy queen size bed, a seating area, tea and coffee station, a small refrigerator, and Apple TV so you can watch movies, or listen to music after a long day of sight-seeing. There is also a full bath in the space, washer/dryer, and access to a large (by NYC standards) garden.
On the main floor is an open plan living room / kitchen, and full bath which can be made available under special arrangement.
We’ve got WiFi, HDTV with DVD player but no land-line telephone because really, who uses one anymore? There are plenty of CDs and books to keep you busy after trekking all over the city.
We're on a small tree-lined street a half block away from the main shopping strip. There are tons of great restaurants and bars within a three block radius (I’m happy to give you a list of our favorites) and the park is host to Celebrate Brooklyn an outdoor festival with movies, music and dance performances from June – August. We’re also really close to the F, G, R, and M trains, making trips into Manhattan easy.
If the calendar says unavailable don't be discouraged. We just might use you as an excuse to get out of town! We'll consider extended stays, a house swap or rent out the whole house ($275. night). Send me a message and we can discuss dates and rates to suit your needs.
This is a smoke free and shoe free house. We have (very cool) neighbors upstairs so we ask that guests be mindful of that and please keep noise level down after 10 PM.
Vielen Dank an Kerrie!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kerrie's. From the moment we arrived she made us feel most welcome. Throughout our stay she provided us with fantastic hints and tips of where to visit and eat out. The private apartment was comfortable and clean with beautiful décor, we loved it as our home for the four nights we stayed. We would thoroughly recommend a stay with Kerrie in this lovely area of Brooklyn.
We had a wonderful stay at Kerrie's basement suite. The apartment is big enough for 3 people and lays in a lovely neighborhood. Lots of nice restaurants and bars close to the suite (we liked "Fonda" best). Perfect to explore Brooklyn and close to Manhattan by subway...
Kerrie's home is brilliant! We where here for 10 days. And everything was just perfect.
The Apartment is big and lovingly furnished.
With the own entrance you can come an go without disturbing anyone. Kerrie has often asked if everything is okay, very nice from her. She gave us also very good tips where we can go for lunch/dinner, or if we wanted to know something about the city, she could always help us! I would not hesitate to come here again, it was a great time!!!
Loved the room. Slept great every night. We had a late arrival and Kerrie stayed up to greet us. Easy to get to and from the city on Subway. Nice quiet area with great food and shops right around the corner. We will be back.
