Private Master Suite in Park Slope

House - Private room · Jackson Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11215, United States

The Space

This is the best way to see NYC!

This two level home with garden is located just three blocks from Prospect Park, in beautiful Park Slope, Brooklyn which was recently voted "the best neighborhood in NYC" by New York Magazine.

The available room is a large master suite on the lower level so you'll have plenty of privacy. It even has its own entrance. There's a comfy queen size bed, a seating area, and an office space with computer and printer so you can use the Internet, watch movies, listen to music or work as needed. There is also a full bath, washer/dryer, and private access to a large (by NYC standards) garden.

On the main floor is an open plan living room / kitchen, and full bath which can be made available under special arrangement.

We’ve got WiFi, HDTV with DVD player but no land-line telephone because really, who uses one anymore? There are plenty of CDs and books to keep you busy after trekking all over the city.

We're on a small tree-lined street a half block away from the main shopping strip. There are tons of great restaurants and bars within a three block radius (I’m happy to give you a list of our favorites) and the park is host to Celebrate Brooklyn an outdoor festival with movies, music and dance performances from June – August. We’re also really close to the F, G, R, and M trains, making trips into Manhattan easy.

If the calendar says unavailable don't be discouraged. We just might use you as an excuse to get out of town! We'll consider extended stays, a house swap or rent out the whole house ($245. night). Send me a message and we can discuss dates and rates to suit your needs.

  • What an excellent place to stay! This was my first trip to NYC and I will never do it any other way. It was such a treat to be able to go into Manhattan during the day and then ride the train back to this neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle at night. Kerrie was a lovely hostess and made us feel right at home. The house was beautiful and Kerrie thought of so many the little niceties to add her own personal flair. The neighborhood is very family-friendly but also has a ton of things to do. We ate at some wonderful restaurants and went to a concert at a great bar all just blocks away. I can't recommend Kerrie's place enough!

  • Kerrie's suite is exactly the same as the picture shows, spacious, clean and really cozy. It is the best place for a couple to travel in the city! The house is located at a very quiet, safe and nice neighborhood in Brooklyn, within 10 minutes walk to the F train, which will take you to the 34th Street Herald Square (Macy's, Korean town, Empire State Building, Time Square) in 20 minutes. Kerrie is a really nice host, she prepared travel guide, fruit, juice for us before our arrival, which makes us feel at home. Highly recommend this lovely suite!!!

  • Kerri was a great host and her space is amazing. We arrived late on a rainy Friday night and she met us with a smile and a quick orientation to the space. We were in town for a quick family getaway and she had cookies for our kids at the ready. We drove in and were able to find on street parking. And, the house is within easy walking distance to the subway and a variety of great eateries (check out the Bagel Pub!).

The space would be ideal for a variety of visitors - from families to business travelers. I definitely plan on staying here again on my next visit.

  • We really enjoyed our stay. Easy walking distance to Prospect Park and subway stop.
Great coffee and lunch at the Couleur Cafe on 7th avenue, and further on 7th find Brooklyn Industries and great shops.
Jackson Place is a quiet street and Kerry is a terrific AirBnB host.
    Thank you !

  • We had a great stay at Kerrie's place. It must first be said that the area she lives in is INCREDIBLY safe and peaceful. We walked 7 blocks from the subway to her flat every night (latest around 12am), and never felt wary or on edge...we only ever saw mothers and strollers/family people the entire time we were in Park Slope, even late at night. It is a very quiet part of town.

As for the stay itself, the suite is immaculate and very cozy. We had minor noise issues quite late one night with the guests staying in the other portion of the house, and Kerrie was quick to respond to our concerned texts and worked with us as we figured out a solution. She was prompt to reply the few times we had questions, which is definitely an A+ quality in a host. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the area.
