  • Erika was great! Her house is exactly how I picture a bnb - a big, beautiful old house, relaxing garden, and a warm, welcoming host who makes you feel at home.

  • Erika made me and my pup feel right at home. Their house is a beautiful vintage California two-story, with ample parking. There was a reading area upstairs and a back garden in which to relax and enjoy the Bay Area breezes. Within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, too!

I would highly recommend Erika's house to anyone staying in the Walnut Creek area.

  • I can't even begin to express what a pleasant experience it was. The house is a gorgeous old home in the Almond district. The room is upstairs in the main house. I felt very at home. Jazzmine (the wire hair fox terrier) and Miles (the kitty) made me feel even more at home. For the friendly open minded traveler the accommodations couldn't be better.
I highly recommend staying with Erika. There is a free trolley that can get you anywhere in town. You can even take it to the BART station which can take you into San Francisco, the airport or several other locations.
You can enjoy some of the finest dining in the bay area within walking distance. The shopping is unsurpassed anywhere. It's a grand deal for the money.

  • Erika is very sweet and accommodating. I am an animal lover and her dog and cat were both as sweet and welcoming. The house is charming and lovely. Thank you Erika.

About
I love the out doors! Animals, especially dogs. And Wining & Dining. Going on beautiful hikes around here in East Bay. Spending time with family & friends. I am from Sweden but moved abroad after college first to Paris then to Italy for 4 years. After that I found New York and moved to Manhattan where I lived for 20 years. One day in March 2007 while skiing in Squaw Valley I met my husband and moved to Sunny California! And I truly LOVE it here.
