A fabulous modern light filled cottage with stunning views located right on the wild Atlantic coast. The large comfortable bedroom with a double or twin beds has a private bathroom. Incredibly beautiful area with lots to do. 30min from Cork airport.
Bright and airy seaside family home with one private room available - twin or double.
Overlooking Garrettstown strand, a renowned surfing spot and within walking distance of the famous landmark of the Old Head of Kinsale, the house is also only 3km from the unique village of Ballinspittle - famous in the 80s for it's miraculous moving Mary statue it's now more likely to be visited for its miraculously good food at the very funky Diva boutique café and bakery or for it's annual summer festival. The village also boasts a fine butchers, supermarket, hardware store, garden centre, hair salon and lively pub. What more could you possibly need?
A 10min drive away you can visit the charming medieval fishing village of Kinsale one of the most picturesque, popular and historic towns on the south west coast of Ireland. It has been hailed as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland, with no shortage of cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste and budget. Only 18 miles from Cork, Kinsale marks the beginning of scenic West Cork and is ideally placed as a yachting and deep-sea angling centre and in recent years a world class golf destination.

Interaction with Guests
It's a family home and we are a busy family of four. We love meeting new people and chatting and suggesting good places to visit while being respectful of guests need for privacy : )
Tara was a fantastic host! She made a fantastic breakfast every morning. Sympathetic to the fact we would need to drive to go out in nearest town, she even drove us to the local pub, where we had a great time with the locals. Kinsale, nearby, is a beautiful town with amazing local seafood and a beautiful harbour. I would fully recommend. Very friendly dog too.
My solo trip to Ireland was a very last minute idea, but straight from initial contact Tara was super friendly and helpful, and was exactly the same when I arrived. I couldn't have wished for a better 4 days of running, cycling, swimming, surfing and playing with Coove, the best dog I've ever met! Also hanging out with Tara and her friends made me feel like a local.
A great but short experience, I hope to keep in contact with Tara, she is always welcome to come and visit Brighton.
Tara was an excellent host. We enjoyed her lovely home near the beach and her sweet, very well behaved boys. The king-sized bed was super comfortable and it was a joy to have our own bathroom. Tara's Irish breakfasts kept us going until dinner time! We would love to return and she and her boys are welcomed at our home whenever they like.
We were really warmly welcomed by Tara and her gorgeous dog. Tara was also fantastic when helping us find her place which is right on the beach and offered us bikes so that we could explore. There is also amazing local scenery and Tara's neighbours are really friendly too. She fed us really well in the morning and was really wonderful to chat to whether it be about what to do in the local area or just this and that.
I felt very much welcome at Tara`s place, which is right beside a beautiful beach (a sandy beach with surfing lessons & beautiful sunsets). Another Plus: a really fast internet access ....
Tara is a very attentive and giving host, so this place just feels "warm" - much more like a "home" than any kind of B&B. Thanks a million for this!! And also for the care against the flu .... ;)
This was the last stay of our holiday with airbnb in Ireland. The family house is well located in a relaxed and safe community, just ahead the ocean; we rent a car and used their free park located in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay, enjoyed talking with Tara and her sons. Our room was clean, tidy and cozy, with functional private bathroom. Our host was quite busy with house and other stuff, but even though, always available to give suggestions, share a jug of latte, or let us employ her friendly dog to be driven through footpaths around the bay. She is definitely bright, friendly and pleasant and we have would spent more time there!
