Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • The Belmont Place apartment was just as advertised. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay there again. The bed was comfortable, the total apartment was very clean and Ed was extremely helpful. Many thanks to Ed for making our stay an excellent experience. We were visiting family in the area on our way to Ireland and this made our trip so much easier. We were able to wash our clothes before we left and having a place to park right across the street was great. The decor was well selected and staying here made our Jersey City trip very enjoyable.

  • Everything was as Ed said it would be with the apartment. Location is very convenient to both NYC and attractions within Jersey City (we spent one day at the terrific Liberty Science Center and one day in NYC). Ed arranged for off-street parking upon our arrival, which is highly recommended, particularly in the winter. Street parking and avoiding snowbanks seemed like it would have been a near-impossible task. The apartment was warm and inviting for me and my my two kids and Ed was happy to give us neighborhood tips for things to do.

  • Everything was exactly as pictured. The property manager, Ed, was extremely accommodating and professional. He was very informative and helpful. A very nice spot to spend a couple nights. The upstairs tenant is pretty loud in the middle of the night, but other than that, a great experience!

  • Our stay at Belmont Place has been fantastic. The apartment is nice, clean, cozy and quiet. The neighborhood is safe and interesting, really multicultural. Ed and Jadzia (the owner) were both super lovely. We have been there for three months and now we are badly missing the place and the people. We hope to come back soon! We needed to stay close to Manhattan (you can either take the PATH or a number of buses to get there very easily), but we discovered that Jersey City is (email hidden)ly, nice place worth visiting in itself. We higly recommend Belmont Place! Susana and Pietro.

  • This is a fantastic place to stay in Jersey city. Ed was great at ensuring we could get into the place late at night an accommodating various needs. The owner who lived above was fantastic too, with ensuring we enjoyed our stay and making the place so comfortable to sleep in for three people. Thank you for the wonderful time!

  • This is a nice apartment in a pleasant location. Ed was very attentive to our needs. When he realized that we needed an extra bed, he immediately went out and bought a new air mattress, Now that's a wonderful host! We recommend this location, and will even stay there again one day if the occasion arises.

  • Our stay at Belmont Place was comfortable. The apartment is nice and clean. Linens were clean, super white and smell good just what you would expect from big hotels. There are several options to get to NYC, the fastest of which is by the PATH train. Ed is very professional and he provided us information we requested in good time. Overall we had a wonderful vacation stay and would highly recommend Belmont Place to our friends.

  • Clean, quiet, cute apartment perfect for 1-2 people; pictures are very accurate. As others have stated, high quality sheets & towels. Tons of linens & plenty of closet / dresser space. Bed is not uncomfortable but is a firm mattress. Bathroom is small & would be a tight fit for larger individuals. Includes cable TV & wireless internet.

A bit of a hike to the Path Station, would def. recommend a taxi for $6-$7.

Ed was super nice, very helpful & very quick to respond to text & emails. Highly recommended.

  • We enjoyed our stay at Belmont Place. Easily accessible, neat and clean. Parking space was a bonus. The only downside was an uncomfortable mattress.

    September 2013
  • My partner and I had a really nice time in this apartment. We got welcomed by the lovely owner Jadzia, who lives in the apartment above. She really cared about us having a nice stay, by also greating us with a bottle of red wine. We were in contact with Ed during our stay and met him when moving out, and he also was very kind and caring about our stay to be great.

The apartment itself was clean, nicely furnished and had everything you need to have a nice stay and feel comfy during your vaccation (fresh towels and utilities included). The pattio is super cute!

The next grocery store is about 7 min. walk away and has the basics available (called Ferrara or similar).

The area the apartment is located in is okay and seemed safe. You can walk 15 min to the train station, which will take another 35 min to NYC ($2.25 p.P.). At night, we drove by taxi back to the apartment for about $6 a ride (incl. tip!).

All in all, I would recommend you to stay here, if the 50 min to NYC don't bother you. We really enjoyed our stay!

Aside from real estate, I also run Jersey City's largest flea market. Hudson Flea started in October 2013 & we are working with over a hundred vendors on a rotating basis. All sorts of art, hand-made, vintage, furniture, music & one-of-a-kind treasures can be found. We've had several very successful events and are gearing up for every weekend soon. Hudson Flea is located by the Journal Square PATH train which is the subway/train stop for all of my listings in Jersey City. My shop, Ed's Salvage Co. (vintage/trend) has two locations in Jersey City as well. One at the Hudson Flea market & one in McGinley Square! Ask me for more details when booking :)
