Ed is a perfect host. He tries to help you in every situation. The communication is easy, by text. The apartment is clean and cute. In the apartment you have all you need. The neighborhood is good. No problems. The public transportation to NYC is easy. By bus and path 30mins to WTC. I can recommend Ed and the apartment to every person that want spent a beautiful stay near NYC. The owner of the house live upstairs. She is lovely and gives you the whole privacy that you need. Thank you Ed for the great stay - we will come back :)
Ed's place was awesome. It was cozy and clean and supplied with everything you would need. Ed was an excellent host- always available and very accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Neighborhood was fine, a little scary for late night, like anywhere in nyc/Brooklyn/etc. Honey bakery around the corner is a must go to.
Ed was super efficient and friendly. Parking in the neighbourhood is tight, but Ed managed to arrange parking for us at extremely short notice.
The apartment is small but efficient the bus to New York is very convenient - just around the corner.
Grocery shopping is a bit of a challenge without a car - but you can order online for delivery.
Our staying in Jersey City was very comfortable.
Place is very convenient. Nearby to NYC from one hand and calm and comfortable area on another hand.
Ed is very hospitable guy. He helped us a lot with many issues.
I recommend to stay there.
We stayed a week at Belmont Place. We liked it very much and Ed was so
nice and took care of us. He waited at the place until we reached it because
we landed in JFK and it was quite complicated to get to Belmont Street. We
recommend to use Newark Airport when you book it and arrive by plane. To
reach the PATH Train is easy, there are several buses on JFK Boulevard that take you there, but not if you have a lot of luggage. NYC is easy to reach and you can use the same METRO Pass to load up some money and use it on PATH Trains.
Belmont Place is nicely furnished but quite small. The bed is okay for a couple but not for someone that needs place to sleep or like us, mother and daughter. The second person has to use the fold out bed then. The living/dining room stays very bright at night and it's difficult to fall asleep. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. The bathroom is really tiny and you have to use it one person at the time. The backyard is very nice with a table and chairs but they were not cleaned. I recommend this property to someone who likes little places but I think for four adults it's definitely too small. You will have a nice quiet apartment in a friendly neighborhood.
Overall it was a good experience and we would book it again. Thanks to Ed again for his help and thoughts.
Ed was incredibly friendly, polite and very helpful. We arrived earlier than expected so he dashed over to the apartment with keys so we could leave our cases and head off to NYC while it was cleaned. Texted every day and helped us with travel. The neighbourhood was fine but we did spend most of our time commuting during the two/three day we were there. We walked to the Path train which is about 20 mins but you can get a bus. The unit was clean and practical for our needs (two adults and one 12 year old travelling from London) and stocked with various food items and beverages. I would recommend it as an ideal place to use when visiting NYC as much more space for your money and an easy commute.
Great host and great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Better than a hotel and costs less!
