A private room in a large house on 13 acres. We are located on a well maintained, paved, narrow country road in a beautiful rural setting. We have two rooms on the second floor that we rent through airbnb. Queen bed, twin bed and full private bath in room. Air bed (EZ Bed on frame) available if requested. The Greenbrier River Trail is 2 miles away by car or bicycle, downtown Lewisburg is about 14 miles away, The Greenbrier Resort is 25.6 miles or approximately 33 minutes away.

The space

We've provided a "kitchen armoire" with a microwave, dorm fridge, small coffee maker, coffee cups, wine glasses, plates, silverware, napkins, small cheese board, knife and cork screw. Coffee, cream and sugar are provided. If you'd like us to acquire groceries for you, please mention this when you contact us about booking. If you'd like a full breakfast, please let us know that, too.

Guest access

You'll have the 2nd floor of the house to yourself. Access to the room is via a semi-private entrance (we generally use a different entrance ourselves). You're welcome to sit on the front porch or the back deck. We're happy to provide breakfast. If you'd like to share the kitchen to prepare your own meals, please let us know. Laundry facilities are available if needed.

Interaction with guests

We will be on site during your stay, and are happy to either interact or stay out of your way. Very glad to provide information about the area, and to provide a shuttle service for cyclists on the Greenbrier River Trail for an additional fee.

Other things to note

We have dogs and cats both in the house and outside. We usually confine the dogs to the back yard when guests are here, and the animals are rarely upstairs, but if you're allergic to pet dander, this may be an issue. Please share your preferences for animal interaction.

We loved everything about this place. We had a long day biking, and it had just started raining when we got to Patricia's place. She and Neil provided a warm welcome with plentiful snacks and warm drinks. Very thoughtful. The house was gorgeous. Beautiful views from every corner. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautiful. We had our private bathroom. The room was equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee/tea. Patricia offered a very reasonable deal that included dinner. She asked if we wanted to dine alone or with them. We chose to spend our time with them, and we felt HOME. Patricia and Neil cooked a feast! Great conversations, food and wine. It was wonderful to hear about them and their passion for wine making. We felt so lucky. We also got a wonderful tour of their property and exclusive wine tasting out of the tanks. The following day we started with a full and delicious breakfast and we biked the last stretch of the Greenbrier River Trail. They picked us up in Anthony to get us to Cass and offered a better price than other companies. Of course the conversation/company was a bonus. Overall an AWESOME stay! we will certainly recommend!!

This home is on a small county road in a beautiful rural setting with mountain views all around. Neal and Patricia were fantastic host that went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. They would give you privacy or stimulating conversation based on your desire. This is a great alternative to the run of the mill hotel options.

Patricia's house was gorgeous - exactly as the photos conveyed. She was very responsive to my messages before we came and even looked up the camp where we were dropping our kids to see where it was (and offered directions). Upon arrival, she showed us the room - equipped w/ a coffee maker, coffee, a small refrigerator, hot water pot, wifi, and more. She showed us around the house, offered jars for the kids to catch fireflies and made sure we knew we could use the patios/decks to watch the sunset and beautiful surroundings. She made us feel very welcome. We would gladly stay at Falling Springs Vineyard again.

Our first Airbnb experience and we fell in love with Falling Springs! Prior to our arrival Pat's communications were warm, helpful and quick. The property is absolutely beautiful. Pat and her husband made us feel so comfortable and they are a pleasure to spend time with (if you choose to engage). We wish our itinerary allowed more time because it's a place you can unwind and be at ease. Everything was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We suggest taking the option for breakfast and coffee...delicious! Would we go back? In a heartbeat!

The host was delightful, and welcoming upon arrival and throughout the stay. The house is beautiful and clean. They were very sensitive to our comfort level with the animals and responded appropriately. Setting is peaceful and Patricia is a wonderful cook if requested. If we ever travel through this area again we would absolutely stay here!
