We like pets,
Tiana made us feel extremely welcome.
On our first night of arrival we were greeted with a warm reception from her family.
The location of the property is very central, in the town and walking distance from the ferry port, and very nice beaches, restaurants and bars.
The property is located on an incline so it is better suited to able travellers who can pack light.
Jelsa is perfect for a quiet relaxing short trip. They have recently launched a coastal airline flying from Jelsa to Split, soon to be expanded to other key tourist areas so it is definitely a place worth visiting.
Are you going to have a relaxing, sun-vacation? Maybe you should go to Jelsa and stay here.
Anais and her grandmother welcomed us in their home and were really great hosts, that made us feel comfortable and like home.
Anais is a really nice and helpful host that helped us with all the practical stuff and advices about the area, that we needed. Provided us with maps, restaurant recommendations and not the least - a lot of laughter.
The house is located near the beach, the restaurants and everything you need. Bike rental, cheap food etc. The area is charming, relaxing and not too touristic (at least not in the end of the season)
You live at Anais' grandmothers place with around 8-10 other guests. You have to be prepared of the fact, that they will maybe be a bit loud.
- There is quite a lot activity in the house which is part of the charm, but also made it a bit hard to sleep (very) long in the morning/sit quiet and calm in the night.
The rooms are clean and well functioning - the kitchen is a little old, and we didn't cook - though it's possible.
If you are looking for a basic accommodation in a small but beautiful Jelsa, look no further. Reasonably priced, clean and conveniently located, with nice hosts speaking English, French, German and Italian. (And guess what's their dog's name? Ringo! - tells a world, I think.)
The very pregnant Anais and her grandmother Slobodanka greeted us like family. They gave us each a bottle of home made wine, and after chatting for a while, we were shown to a cozy upstairs room with a bathroom and a charming balcony overlooking the residential hillside, as well as part of the waterfront. Short walk to cafes, bakery, and market. Lovely, peaceful stay. Anais as very helpful, and gave birth to a boy on the morning of our departure!
Anais and her grandmother (who owns the house the apartment is in) are very nice! We felt welocme from the first moment on when they offered us wine or fresh lemonade. The room was quite nice and the balcony offeres a marvellous view over the little town and the sunset (very romantic ;) ).
I would stay there again anytime. In my opinion we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay!
We had a lovely welcoming by the host with a freshy lemonade; the host was definitely very polite, warm and always ready to help us in any sort of need.
The guest house had a spell binding view over the port and the seaside surrounded by a wide garden with lemon and orange orchards: the bedroom was clean, with a delicious balcony where we dined by romantic sunset with seafood and white wine kindly offered by the host; it's a pity there was no air conditioned but very quite and well furnished.
We really enjoyed either the guest house either all the family host.
