i am very surprised about your comment.
its more or less impossible to answer all points you mention, but:
you have rent an apartment, not a room in a hotel...
other customers, with a child, did the same...
are you sure you can find at the crowdy side of boracay a frontbeach hotel with a 150sqm big apartment?
untill now, i hadnt got any message from you about a broken jaquzzi, or ants or other complains. but maybe the following conversation between the 2 of us explain whats the problem is:

i understand well, that you not like to loose money, hehe, me too.
as i know there is an insurance by airbnb, if a customer cancel, that he get a small refund of his payment. but i dont know how much its is.
if i cancel the stay of a guest, i loose 100% and also my superhoststatus.
but as i said before, i am npt very familaer with the customer side, because i had never cancel by myself, when i going on holiday via airbnb.
for me also would be said, to loose a nice guest, and haviong a unit in the mainseason empty.
with this income from the very short season, i pay the staff, all locals, all year around and take care, that the place is always in perfect condition.

but this is the life...

Hi Andreas,
Thanks for your quick reply ( as always, compliments for this).
The reason is nothing to do with things here but more the fact that I was due to attend a job interview in Amsterdam when I got back and the company is pushing for me to come earlier than was provisionally agreed with them. I guess I can't be too choosy as I was not working before this trip and taking time off! Reading about the airbnb resolution centre, from what I read is that they get involved into cases where owner and renter cannot be resolved, whereas I think it is reasonable to come to a resolution between us. If you still believe that we should go through the resolution centre I will of course. I appreciate that this is not a usual situation and appreciate your understanding to see whether you could consider a full refund for these days, If this is not agreeable, I will continue to negotiate with the company as I don't want to shorten my vacation or lose money. cancellation of stay with airbnb i not a big deal, i guess they are really helpfull for this, but i dont know really, i never had this by myself.
please contact there helpcenter, sure airbnb will assist you.

Hi Andreas, I hope you are well and we are enjoying staying at the blue lagoon. We are looking into some changes to our schedule and this will mean leaving the accommodation early ( 3or 4 days).i did read the policies on cancelation but was wondering if there is something that can be agreed between us as overall we stay a good amount of time? Can you please advise and then we will make our decisions accordingly. Many thanks, rishi

as you wrote by yourself, and as my staff confirmed, there was nothing wrong on our side.

but you know what? more than 100 other guests found our place nice and beautyfull, your the first who write now a comment like this, i guess i can deal with this.
