Looking for best location in the heart of the historic center, 2 minutes from the Mosque? Then this is your place:
The studio is located in the heart of the historic center of Córdoba, the Judería, very close to the Mezquita (Mosque, 2 minutes) with the most relevant sights within walking distance (5 minutes) and the Archaeological Museum just around the corner. It forms part of a traditional house, with a patio (typical courtyard) at its center (photo) which is overlooked from the studio.
The small studio has the dorm space at its center (with double bed), a basic kitchenette (fridge, vitro, water heater, cooking amenities, etc.) and a small bathroom. The equipment of the studio is simple, but covers the basic needs for short stays.
The house offers outdoor facilities with two patios (courtyards) and a small library. WIFI access is available in the library and in the central courtyard.
Close to the house there are restaurants, shopping facilities (fruits, bakery, etc.), a Flamenco bar and a medical center.
There is a direct bus from the railway/bus-station which drops you 50 meters from the house.
The location is residential, quiet and safe, and is a perfect starting point for walks around the historical center at any time of the day/night.
If you look for entertainment, you will have to make a difficult choice: dozens of popular restaurants, bars with Flamenco performance, Arab baths and Córdoba´s most popular square where you can discover Andalusian taste at the fresh fruit market or have a glass of wine and try a variety of tapas are all within (5 minutes) walking distance from the apartment.
You will feel taken back centuries in a house that dates back to the 10th century, offering comfort in a unique setting.
You will enjoy Córdoba´s magic!
Everything perfect. Nice room in a very Nice house in the center.
For a night or two in Cordoba, this place is brilliant. The location is its biggest plus - in a lovely little lane right in the middle of the Juderia and steps from the Mezquita. It's also quite a novelty to be able to say you've stayed in a 1000+ year-old house!
The studio really is tiny, but was more than sufficient for our one-night stay. The bathroom is a very small wet room and water did seep out into the studio a bit, causing us to do some frantic mopping! There is a kitchen area, but I don't think it's the most practical for serious cooking. The wifi signal didn't reach the room very well, so you'll have to go downstairs to the courtyard or lean out the window to pick it up.
Carola was a very nice host and gave us some good recommendations for how to spend our 24 hours in Cordoba. There were several people coming and going from the house, so if you're the sort who likes to meet/socialise with other travellers, this is the place for you.
Carola was a great host - very helpful and friendly. She gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do and see, and helped us make ticket reservations for a train trip. I enjoyed staying in her historic building. The location was right in the heart of an ancient district, an easy walk to the Mezquita and most other places of interest. The studio was fairly tight quarters for two people (but fine for a few nights), clean and charming. Windows look out onto the attractive patio below where you can relax and socialize. If you wanted more space, you could rent one of her larger rooms. Carola's building is a great place to stay in Cordoba.
A very beautiful and very clean Andalusian House. In the center where you can reach everywhere walking. Carola gave us tips for a great restaurant. We enjoyed our stay by Carola and we definitely recommend it
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay in Cordoba! Carola was super accommodating! She gave us some great recommendations and the apartment was so centrally located. The apartment was small, as we expected from the pictures, but it was great for an intimate weekend away. Thanks so much!
Great central location, literally in the very heart of Cordoba with buzzing streets nearby packed with restaurants and cafes. The house itself was in a quiet street with the windows opening into a typical Spanish lovely inner garden, so it was very peaceful and quiet, even in the evenings. The room we stayed in had enough space for both of us and having a kitchenette was convenient. Just 4-5mins walk to the Mezquita, museums and other interesting places meant that it was easily accessible, even for my 80-year old mum.
Carola gave detailed directions to her property in her welcome email. We arrived later than planned and she was so patient with us; she changed her plans to wait so that she could welcome us personally. She also gave us many tips on how to make the most of our single day of sightseeing – and it worked better than my research I’d done at home!
I would definitely recommend staying in Carola’s accommodation.
Carola was a wonderful host. She had many great ideas for our short stay in Cordova. Following her itinerary gave us direction to the best highlights of the city. Her studio was exactly what we needed for a short respite. Since our trip was full of sightseeing, all we really did was use the apartment to sleep and the small studio was perfect for our needs and budget. The location to Cordova's main attractions was ideal. Everything was close to our accommodations. We had an amazing time in Cordova and it was only enhanced by our stay with Carola! Thank you!!
I had a fantastic stay in this historical residence. The studio was small, but with all amenities, as well as, comfortable and quiet. The location was very good for exploring the old quarter of Cordoba. Carola was very helpful in showing the best places to eat so as not to spend too much money. Would definitely stay again! Well worth the price.
The location of the apartment is surely its best point. You are in the middle of everything, In a real cordoba patio. Do print a map if you plan to walk from the station to it, or bring with you a GPS: it is a good 35 minutes walking and you can easily get lost in the narrow streets.
Carola is helpful in her suggestions and you can ask her anything.
On the minus side, the apartment is very small, and you can barely live in there. Don't really plan to cook, (only one stove, very small basin). And it is also quite difficult to take a shower, since the apartment has a slope, so if you are not extremely careful the water will go out of the bathroom to reach your kitchen/bedroom.
