Jay was very kind host, indicating us where all items were and we had a very highly intelligence conversation during breakfast.
The place was very well located close to all attractions by car or bus.
Independent entrance was a plus with a lot of space.
Jay was an amazing host. My girlfriend and I stayed with him for a few days and it was very pleasing. Jay was a great conversationalist and his pets are adorable. It was an all around comfortable experience as one of our first times using air bnb.
Jay and his place are the best! Not only did he accomodate our late-night arrival (2 am!), but he was a clear communicator from the start, made sure we had everything we needed upon our arrival, and was the perfect host. The place has a convenient, central location in a quiet neighborhood in L.A., and the simply and tastefully decorated, light-filled room has the perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. We would stay with him again in a heartbeat, and plan on doing so the next time we visit.
Jay was awesome! His place was perfect! He was so kind to show my daughter around his garden and let her pick some fruits and vegetables. He even gave her a record by the artist she was named after. We had a wonderful experience and this is definitely our go to spot for staying in LA.
Jay is a very friendly and easy-going guy. We got along very well even I stayed just 2 days. The neighbourhood is quite and convenient if you have a car. If you don't, public transportation is not very developed in this area. The room is clean and having a private bath is definitely a plus! Thanks Jay!
My arrival time kept changing because of my scheduling but Jay was very accommodating. The place is cozy as advertised! We had a great stay here. Everything advertised here was correct and it was a great location near Culver City. It is a little daunting to drive through the neighboring streets and it looks like it would be dangerous but his location, as he explained to us, was and felt safe and nothing happened. Also, this place is pet friendly so that was really convenient. Thanks for the great experience Jay!
Spacious room, private entrance. Quiet place.
Jay was an excellent host. You would be probably jealous of his amazing vinyl collection. This place is closer to all the major attractions. I highly recommend Jay's place
Comfortable and clean, good location. Jay was a friendly and accommodating host. Super comfy mattress!!
We ended up staying with Jay for 3 weeks. The room is clean, and it will be made up for you and ready by the time you arrive. He had fresh towels for us to use. The shower was okay, but it got the job done.
The additional use of the rest of the house, including the kitchen, washer/dryer, dining room was great for us since we were there for a longer stay. He's got every kitchen utensil or tool you can imagine, so don't be afraid to cook to your heart's content.
Jay was a very great host! We got along with him really well. His dog Izzy is sweet, and his cat Frank is kind of a jerk, but he still lets you pet him occasionally. We even cooked some meals together as well and had great dinner conversations. He's a GREAT cook, and makes some really good pork carnitas.
Overall, we really enjoyed our temporary stay at Jay's place. He made us feel very welcome allowed us to make ourselves at home. I would definitely recommend his place and stay there again if needed.
