Where to begin... this place is amazing and so is Virginia! The infinity pool when the sun sets...breath taking! The room was cute and well appointed. Everything in costa rica is open so expect some bugs, nothing you shouldn't have already expected. Virginia cooked a wonderful breakfast for us each morning. Great start to our day. She also gave us lots of advice in regards to places to eat and sight see. She also let us use her snorkel gear which was super sweet. All and all we really really enjoyed our stay with Virginia and really loved Santa Teresa. This time of year is perfect to visit costa rica. We literally had her entire house to ourselves, of course she was there but there were no other guests because it's the rainy season. It rained at night but we had sunny days the entire time we were there! Not too many tourists, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying with Virginia.
I fell in love upon arrival, and each day was torn between my love of the beach and the enchantment of Casa De La Luna. Doña Vicky is an incredible woman who has worked for many years on women's issues in Costa Rica. She is incredibly caring and makes sure you are enjoying your stay. She has a man helping around the house, Norbis, who goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. The views are incredulous. You will not want to leave! I only rated the photos three stars because they do not do it justice!

Can't thank you enough for a wonderful time spent at your beautiful home! You are an amazing woman living in a beautiful house! Everything was very clean, food was delicious and great location! Thank you and hope to visit again!
My boyfriend and me spent 2 nights at Casa de la Luna and we had a lovely stay.
The house is beautiful: it has an open kitchen, living room and a nice pool with a great view on the ocean. The room was very clean and we liked that it had big windows so we felt like being in the nature.
Virginia is a very friendly person, very opened and welcoming, and she cooked very good breakfast in the morning: our favorite part of the stay!!
We stayed there because it was close to the beach (you need a good car to get there though) so we could go surfing early in the morning. The location is also good since it is surrounded by nature/forest and we got to see a monkey in the morning: amazing!
I definitely recommend to stay at Casa de la Luna, you wont be disapointed.
Casa de la Luna is a beautiful building building in a stunning location. The house is an open concept, allowing you to feel right in the jungle while at the same time surrounded by gorgeous architecture. I spent an evening alone in the pool watching the sunset (amazing in Santa Teresa) and the stars come out over the ocean. It was magical. Virginia is a fantastic, caring host, who really goes out of her way to make your stay unbelievable. She even took the time to drive me to town and show me the best place to get ceviche. All in all, definitely a 5 star spot! And I will be back not only for the view but to visit the wonderful host!
Virginia was a great host. The place was clean, the pool was refreshing and had an amazing view. The other guests that stayed at Casa de La Luna were friendly and we were able to learn a bit of Spanish. The breakfasts were tasty. I would recommend renting an ATV to get around town and to get to the house. I would highly recommend Casa de La Luna.
Casa de la luna was gorgeous. It's a beautiful and open house sitting on a hill overlooking Pacific Ocean. Virginia was very nice, accommodating and helpful. She picked me up from the bus stop, dropped me off to have dinner, told me everything about the area, helped me rent and atv, find a place to stay for another day and even lent me some cash when I couldn't get any from ATM on Christmas Day! Besides her famous breakfast was full filing and delicious;) I would love to stay at her gorgeous villa again and I'm sure I will-this time w friends or family. Highly recommend it. Just be aware that it's on a very steep hill so any motor vehicle is required to get to the top. Atvs r great for that. Otherwise it's quite a work out which is not bad if u r into it;) thanks for everything Virginia! You are a wonderful soul and a great host;)

I am the owner of Casa de la Luna" ,a stylish Eco friendly bed and breakfast on the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica. I love to travel and building my small B&B on the Pacific Coast has been a long time dream of mine.
I am very proud of my country's culture and I am trying to embody the soul of Costa Rica in the design of my house like furniture from only local wood, typical architecture, artisan decoration and having the nature surrounding the house.
I am also I am very excited to showcase my passion for cooking at breakfast time where you will receive a rich and delicious meal.
