Diana's place is a perfect home base, very clean and cosy. We spent most of our days out in the city, and this was the perfect place to recharge. Its also in a very convenient location, close to the main subway lines. She was also very flexible with the check-in and check-out times, which was greatly appreciated!
Diana's place was in a safe area, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Diana was very pleasant, hospitable and helpful with directions, places to eat, etc. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Diana.
We had a great stay in NYC. Diana was very accommodating with our check in time especially with respect to flight delays and NY traffic. The apartment was exactly as pictured. It is in a great location in Chelsea with easy access to the blue and red subway lines as well as convenience stores that were open late. Helpful notes were left around the apartment as we arrived when the hosts were not home. We spent most of the time out of the apartment and only ran into our hosts for very brief moments, overall great experience.
We had a fantastic time in NYC. Diana and Lilian are great hosts. Everything we needed for a great stay was provided. Cute little private room with comfy bed, clean sheets and towels. We were aloud to use bathroom and kitchen with all appliances. The Appartement is located perfectly. Close to the subway and a lot oft sights are in walking distance.
Thank you so much Diana & Lilian for even letting us use the whole Appartement while you were away on Long Island. Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back any time.
My friend and I had a great time staying at Diana's place. We appreciated all the food recommendations and the room was perfect for our needs. We simply needed a place to sleep and change clothes, spending most of our time out of the apt. The location was perfect, just steps to the subway and blocks from the high line and great eats. We also got a great work out from the 6 floor walk up! I would stay here again for sure!
We were very satisfied with the apartment, it was bright, sunny and clean. The location was also perfect, the grocery was just on the other side of the street. Diana and Lilian were kind and really helpfull. We were happy to stay with them for a few days
About the Host, Diana
I was born in the Manila, raised in the lovely city of San Francisco, and now live in the mean streets of Manhattan. I'm a permanent urban dweller, well traveled, and have had several international flatmates in the past. I make at least one international trip for work and one (or more) for personal a year. Currently, my boyfriend Lilian and I live in a beautiful, sunny 2-Bedroom flat in Chelsea.
My favorite "hobby", if you can call it that, is trying out new restaurants. I eat out quite often, though I also love to cook elaborate meals at home for my friends. The most important criteria in selecting my lodging and living arrangements, aside from basic cleanliness (I hate clutter), is it's proximity to great dining. Apart from eating, I'm known to knock back a few cocktails and tear up the dance floor.
