The Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is a quiet residential/industrial area within East Williamsburg. Right in front of Cooper Park. You can brunch and bike away the day and lounge and drink away the night in this infinitely hip warehouse-turned-loft Brooklyn neighborhood. New York City’s top spot for looking awesome while ordering beers that come in a tall can, Williamsburg is a food, drink, and music lover’s paradise. This ultra-trendy neighborhood completes its super cool repertoire with alternative-looking street art and two-story murals. Ask me for my list of neighborhood favorites!

Getting around

The Grand L subway stop is just 4 blocks away. You can take this to other areas within Williamsburg or straight to Union Square (15 minutes away) in Manhattan where you can easily access all of Manhattan (Times Square, MoMA, World Trade Center are all 30 min away by subway).

There is also free street parking all around the apartment. It's very easy to find a great spot!

  • I really enjoyed our stay at Amia's place. It was clean, bright and comfortable. The subway to Manhattan was easy to get to and it didn't take long to get to Manhattan; when there, there were easy transfers to most major trains.
I appreciated that Amia arranged that we could leave our luggage in her place past checkout since our flight didn't leave until late that evening.

  • Host was immediately responsive to all questions. The apartment was exactly as described. Neighborhood/location was fantastic, within easy walking distance of public transportation and shops and restaurants.

  • Hi,
The appartment was nice. A little bit noisy in the room situated at the street side early in the morning, due to the trucks.
Subway is at 5 minutes walking (L train, Graham av), direct and fast to Manhattan. There is a corner market just at the Graham avenue station (really practical)
Amia is really concerned about your stay and available to answer to your question and to adapt to your situation.
    Thanks Amia

  • The place is well located. We are 10 mn from the L train station. And then. 15 mn from union square. The neighborough is great with all the food you need, good pizza in carmines , good burgers in mother s, japanese, local, a couple of good bars. Finally you are just as fine as in manhattan but in a better place where you can cook if you want. We enjoyed it with two young kids 4 year and 11 months and it was a pleasure. There is even e park for kids and enjoy (email hidden) from the flat.

  • The listing was as described, very nice and very comfortable. The neighborhood is very interesting and the apt is within easy walking distance of the L line subway which makes getting into Manhattan very easy. One thing not mentioned is that on street parking is very easy for anyone coming with a car.

  • Really spatious appartment (for NYC), close to many nice little restaurants and bars. Only three subway stations from Manhattan. If you are planning to explore Brooklyn as well, a good starting point. Only Metropolitan Avenue is a little noisy. Amia is a great hostess. Her recommendations for shopping were excellent. We had a wonderful time.
