Juliette was late for everything from the day of her last minute booking. We waited over 2 hours for her after she said she would be coming in 30 mins. She was late or went to the wrong place for the Yoga class and claimed that we falsely advertised. The yoga instructor has done hundreds of classes for my guests with not a single complaint. When we told her the yoga instructor was in fact waiting for 30 mins in the designated yoga room, she accused me of calling her a liar. My staff tried to make up to her for this unfortunate incident (which was not really our fault as I personally saw the yoga instructor at 7.45am) by offering her a free transfer to a tourist destination. We called a car for her at the promised time and she missed that appointment too. The driver was not happy and left when she did not show up. No apology from her accept that her phone battery died and we could have arranged the car better. I did tell her I did not appreciate her callous allegations to which she may have taken offense. As for "semi-clean" and "AC not being decent", I ensure all my air-conditioners are serviced on a 6 month cycle and it is done like clockwork. My staff who met Juliette is my Guest Officer, whom I hired, specifically to help me ensure my guests have the most pleasant stay. Not many hosts have a dedicated person, whose KPI is guest happiness. If you are a guest considering booking my apartment, I would ask that you read the over one thousand reviews I have collected to be the yardstick of my hosting abilities. I don't get it right every single time, but the majority of my guests have had pleasant experiences.
